HI Shadow wolf and Fleur and thank you for the welcome ,as I said in my first post I came across the forum while looking for info on shamanism ,its something I have thought about in the past because I have some tiny bits of information from but I cant remember why I looked in the first place ,I think maybe that because there is a herbalist whom I greatly admire and I believe that she is a shaman ,however I went for a reading from a clairvoyant and she to is a shaman ,well she told me some things which I found absoloutley astounding and that Shadow wolf is probably why my mind is whizing with questions ,so although I know that I need some answers Ihavent yet formed the right questions yet. If that makes any sense .btw my screen name is just new I was told at the reading to look to tuning into the elements of the air and when I meditated on this I was met by a blackbird ,unfortunately I cant encourage my feathered friend because I am owned by two devious felines and one a brilliant hunter so I was surprised when a blackbird appeared in my garden minutes after the meditation ,sorry to have rambled

Its nice to talk to people who have similar interests ,I do not have alot of experience with on line forums and stuff so its a bit of a learning curve for me ,but it is nice to find a place to share views and experiences

Hi blackbird its jaybird here i,m a newbie too. was it a male or female blackbird they can be linked to the archangel aurial theres a few meanings dependant on the type. t here are other things you may want to look at when nature shows you a omen .the colour of the animal may be of importance you might want to consider how the colour serves the animal.thers positive and negative qualities to any colour.
black positives may mean protection,birth or magic
negatives secretness and sacrifice
Numbers can also be important. the number one can have positives of beginnings or originality but negatives of arrogance and dominance.
