I'm having a massive clear-out and found I have waaayyy more feathers than I actually need! They are a mix of swans quills/ breast feathers, hawk wing-feathers and pigeon, with crow and sundry others in there.
All have been picked off the ground, none taken without permission.
So - first person to pipe up gets some feathers! 😀
Oh, and if anyone wants the makings for dreamcatchers (thin metal rings, maybe some leather pieces, feathers...) please speak up. Doesn't have to be the same person who gets both.

Glad you liked the feathers, Ithar. A shaman wand sounds very good! it reminds me of the time I was going to make one years ago and was smartly told not to!
Eagle owls are amazing. We have a photo of hubby with one on his arm - he was the only guy at the demonstration big enough to hold the bird up!
Re: illegality of having the feathers... if you want to be covered, perhaps I can send you a signed affidavid (or whatever they call it on those lawyer shows...lol) that the feathers were all picked up off the ground. The swan feathers lie all over the place at Linlithgow Loch when they're molting! I got the hawk feathers on the shoreline and owl feathers at an owl sanctuary.
I have a feeling that you'd probably be okay because you are using them for a spiritual function.
Anyway, I am glad that your helpers have this extra close bond with you...

Do you have any dream catcher things left please. If you have that would be great. Also if possible any hawk feathers would be really lovely or any others that you can spare a swan feather would be wonderful as I have a guide who is swan. Maybe you have run out by now though. I can send you the postage if that will help.

Was v suprised to read the post re illegal to have a swan feather
the swan sanctuary in dorset has them for sale..will look into this.

I am nit too sure what the rules and regulations are to any kind of specifics, this is what a friend told me who is a shaman/druid. Saying that they are protected by the police for they are royal birds of the queen.
Yet I have no wn what doubt Moonfeather says about them,

Hi, have you got any hawk feathers left moonfeather?? [do you know what kind of hawk?].....notice you are in scotland, any eagles near you ?:D;)
might be able to trade you with a bird feather/s you hav'nt got...if you like.
the law question applies mainly to raptors.....particulary eagles, but so long as they are stated as a gift and no money changes hands or cross any international boarders you are ok ....to sell raptors feathers requires a licience to be legal i believe.

Yes, there are hawk feathers left. I think they are sparrowhawk or kestrel. I keep looking at pictures to try and figure it out, lol.
No, sadly - no eagle feathers.... which I would love. Saw a golden eagle at a show the other day and wondered if they would spot me jumping the fence and pinching a few! 🙂

yes i thought bout mugging an eagle at a bird sanctuary but it was a very sad and moody looking bird:( so i thought better of it......eagles are meant to be wild and flying free......,
i dont think captive birds have such a strong energy as wild ones but i suppose it depends on the circumstances and individual bird.

I just saw this thread, I've been offline all year, I was living on a beach taking care of sick dolphins! Do you have any owl feathers that you would like to give away? I have owl medicine and would love one if it's not too late.
My friend went to a sanctuary nearby that has owls and they would not let him have one from off the ground for a ceremony. He's looking for a snowy owl feather. Do you have two snowy owl feathers? One for him and one for me? I would take any type of owl feather.
I'm in the US but I have a friend in Scotland and could give you that address instead.
