Am looking to do an introduction to shamanism/journeying workshop and just wondered if anyone had done one that they could recommend, I was going to enrol on Ross Heaven's Journey to you workshop but it coincides with a trip to Bali I had planned, I am in the London area and have found a few on the net but just wondered if anyone could advise me from their own experience.

Thanks Love
Luce

Hi,
If you get chance to do a workshop with BJ Hawks Shadow, I would say it would be great, but she isn't in your area!
She is a Native American Medicine Woman, a direct decendant of the Cherokee Wolf Clan of Denton Texas.

Also a friend of mine has done some workshops with two medicine women from south America, they do come over here from time to time and generally run courses in London, not sure of the details but could find out.

Have a look here:

I did a workshop with them a few years ago. Feel free to PM me with any questions. You can click a link on the site to hear a couple of minutes of shamanic drumming - lovely 🙂

Also, if you put Sacred Hoop into Google, you'll get links to the website of the magazine of that name.

RE: can anyone recommend?

Hi there, I've just finished doing a course entitled Way of the Kestrel in Glastonbury, it was completely life changing. I could go on, but there's just so many good things to say about Kestrel and his wife Jay, and the course, and of course Glastonbury that I'd be here all day if I did.

I met Kestrel about 2 years ago when I went for a reading with my boyfiriend, it changed both of our lives, and it transpired that we decided to do the course because we were so moved. It was a wonderful decision. Maybe meet him first by having a reading or healing - it's run by the Isle of Avalon - check it out and see what you think, they have a website too.

Lol and good luck!

Gx:)
