RE: Baboon totem animal any info?
Hello There
A Baboon! Well I would suggest the sitter focuses on the energy associated with this creature and what it means to them at this moment in time. I always feel that these monkeys are very funny and playful, can be destrutive when bored. Incredibley strong and protective of there groups. They forage, but also eat meat (believe it or not) they have strong facial features (and think we should not mention the back side!!!!)
Hope this helps

Thank you very much both of you
I did tune into the Baby Baboon and was told that it is a Guardian Totem very similar to a spirit gatekeeper and protective like the Wolf the Baby which was about 2-3 years old will grow with the Reiki Angel and be staying with her throughout her life and will defend her to the death.
blessings in abundance

RE: Baboon totem animal any info?
Hi Sacredstar
I have a whole troup of baboons including parents with babies and and extremely large mandrill - the ones with the big blue noses. They are all playful and often come along with buckets and spades to help in removing any rubbish away during shamanic healings and journeys. perhaps your friend needs to relax, be more playful and have a little more fun in life or move out something that is no longer helping in life. Baboons are also sacred to many cultures. There is Monkey from Chinese stories, Hanuman the ape god of India and Hapi, a Nile god also has an ape statue. As all experience is personal and individual maybe your friend should meditate, call the baboon and ask it for its message.
Hope this helps

RE: Baboon totem animal any info?
Found this hope it helps, Baboons are primates that live with their family members in a close knit community. They groom, care for and protect their young in much the same ways humans do. Baboons are noisy and aggressive when provoked, especially the males. Some scientists believe that humans emerged from early primates because of physical similarities. But science does not understand the human soul as a separate creative miracle that is different from apes.
If Baboon is your ally he may wish that you would pay attention to your natural instinct to express your emotions. Are you the type of person who hides their true feeling from others? Baboons don't think twice about making a real racket when they are agitated or upset. Baboon is your perfect teacher. Baboon teaches you that your emotional needs for love and people who care about you are as important as developing your mind and succeeding in your school subjects. Baboon wants you to understand that crying is natural when you are hurt. Don't let anyone call you a crybaby! There is no need to exaggerate or get too out of control in order to punish those around you. But be vocal when you need something from others. Especially, if they are ignoring you. They won't know how you feel until you tell them.

Generally speaking, a baboon symbolises writing. The Egyptian god Thoth is often portrayed as a baboon or as a scribe holding a pen with a baboon looking over his shoulder. Although, of course totems are specific to an individual and do vary, sometimes far away from the general understanding.
Although this is a very old post, feels like the lady was presented a baboon to show her to take up writing. Or more specifically, to create a journal or update one she already had, involving her experiences after her attunements. Journals are an incredible source of learning, especially on hindsight many years after they have been created 😀
