Asking for insight on racoon dream

Racoon is my animal guide that appears to me on my right to encourage my curious nature.

I dreamt recently that I was lying in bed and there was a racoon curled up on my right. It didn't have it's mask. Someone said the animal was a ???, I can't remember, but to me it was a raccon without a mask. I pulled it closer to pet it. Then I got out of bed. Underneath the covers was another racoon that made it's appearance. It looked out from underneath the covers and it had a mask!

So two racoons. One above the covers in the light, one below in the dark. One with a mask, one without.

Any insights? Am I half hiding and half out in the open?
