When is right?

I've known people to go at different times, some after a few weeks, others after a few months. When my father died I went to see one after 4 months. Maybe ask the medium how long she usually finds?

Sorry to hear about your mum. It is always very very sad to lose a parent and we each need our own time to come to terms with the loss.

I find that each individual varies about how long before a sitting is needed. Some can cope with a sitting very soon after, others need more time to adjust and too soon can be very damaging to the grieving and healing process. It is important that you are stable enough to listen and take on board any message or confirmation. For some people this may actually take years for others a few months.

It all depends on who you talk to, some mediums won't allow a sitting for 3 months and others will take the money whenever it is offered lol.

You will know when the time is right, and perhaps you may find that you do not actually need a sitting or reading at all, as I am sure your mum is at peace and would not want you to worry or make a fuss.
