Hi

I am an intuative who seems to see into someones life and see past present & future.

How? I don't know

When I was three I cried while holding my ear and said that my dad was sad.
Later that evening he came home after being glassed across the ear in his local.

When I was growing up as a child, my brother would exceed his playing out time.
I would go to his room and pick up a peice of clothing and hold it to see if he was ok.

As an adult I have seen, felt & heard in my minds eye, all in one about those people I come in contact with.
Through the confidence to share this with them, I have confirmed myself to tears that the information was right.

These experiences are coming more & more.

I am having a bit of a responsability problem though, I only ever tell someone what I see, but I feel so much love for the receivers of these messages that sometimes I feel it is too much to proceed.
Not because of what I see, but because I have doubt not in what I see, but my right to explore the paths of others.
I claim no gift nor any particular religion, but I believe in love thy neighbour & the importance of a good samaritan who opens there door to ANYONE.
The paths I have seen began thick & fast, when I was told by freinds that I was a good person.
Something I never listened to before.
I suppose what I am saying that I regard the responsability to be huge & wonder if I am meant to use it for the good of others, as it may cause emotional turmoil for others.
After knowing how frightening it is to get lost in your own mind, there is know way i could sleep at night worrying about the affects of my words on anyone else on this planet.

Love & Hugs
Susan

RE: The huge responability involved in reading

Hiya Honey

For me it is simple, If I have something for them, I ask them if they would like to know or not...that way I am respecting what comes through but also giving the person in question a choice...I figure if someone has taken a huge effort to give me something be it images etc then i owe it to them to pass it on..

Hope that helps a little.

RE: The huge responability involved in reading

Indeed Susan, you raise a very valid point and are not alone with your experiences. We all have to take responsibilities for ourselves and especially when we are helping others with their healing etc. I say healing, because when someone is coming for a reading, most often than not they are looking for answers to assist healing in a certain area of their life...even if this is to help shed some light to clear the blocks so that they can move forward in life.

If you ask for guidance from whatever source you choose to tap into, or use your own intuition as your guide, you will find that no-one can see all...we are human and not evoled enough for this. You will only ever get what information you are meant to deliver although again responsibility lies where you can either deliver this in pure form as is given or put your own interpetation on this - as some people do.

However, I have encountered many people who believe they have psychic gifts and yet they are needing anti psychotropic prescribed drugs, to help with coping in every day life, chemical imbalances etc. If someone is 'needing' these medications to get byin daily life, especially if there are distortions in thinking, then any psychic awareness they might think they have, 'could be' because the medication producing an altered state of thinking processing - resulting in distorted perceptions.

Some people live there life percieving negativity...and when reading give negative readings...not common but this does happen. Sadly there are so many people who give readings who do not even begin to think of responsibility...how people see us, rely on us...some hang on to our every word.. There are people who see gving readings just as an opportunity to cash in on peoples vulnerability....easy money:(

It seems because of your experiences you are very much aware of the responsibility we all carry in whatever role we play in life. This can only serve further to enhance your awareness and strengthen your gifts. Though in particular, you might find yourself to be more senstive to recognise when it might not be appropriate for someone to have a reading....they might instead just need a listening ear....someone to comfort them and show they care.

When you are able to make a connection with your sitter and feel that wonderful feeling of unconditional love...you will also find you can give this freely from your heart in return. I have seen some of your posts and get a lovely feeling from your energy. You have evidently come a long way on your journey:)

RE: The huge responability involved in reading

Way before I started doing readings I made it abundantly clear to whomever was bringing me messages that this would be done on my terms. No midnight, out of the blue, while I am in the middle of work information. It soon evolved to a kind of on/off switch over which I have control. It was not and is not an ego thing; it was/is a sanity thing. The way I looked at it was that, in this earth life, I was responsible for the actions of this body. To accept that, I needed to be fully grounded in order to function. Over time I have grown more comfortable switching 'on' in public or other possibly unsafe arenas.

As for responsibility, I feel that most people with awakened intuitive abilities have demonstrated the level of responsibility in previous incarnations to be 'given' these 'gifts'. Accepting full responsibility also means being able to ask, demand if necessary, that the messages slow down or stop when they interfere with your daily life. If you are willing to be used as an instrument for these messages you have the right to set some ground rules. Develop a trust in the source of your messages and, especially, the emotion behind the message. If the messages come through in a vibration of Love and positive energy by all means give them out.

The main responsibility you have is accuracy. If you trust the accuracy of the message and feel the positive energy behind it, regardless of the outcome of its receipt, you have fulfilled your responsibility. Each being is responsible for their own behavior and actions. As you become comfortable with your accuracy let the messages go once you have given them. Think of the messages as bundles of energy meant for someone else. You are the conduit to get that message to them. Once it is delivered, let the message go. I have done hundreds of readings and within minutes after any of them have forgotten nearly all of what was said. I have fully given the energy intended for someone else to them. It was never mine in the first place. To hold on to it, the message or the responsibility for what that person does with it, would be to clutter up my own energy with 'foreign' energy. Ask God/your guides/angels to help you with this.

I am not sure if you are looking at my post as a way of seeking confirmation, as to whether or not I have a gift or whether you are saying that as I take dothiepin that my experiences are down to them.

I claim no gift

I never took any perscribed drugs as a child of three or in childhood in general & am a little confused[&:] are you saying that I should avoid telling people anything that I see?

THANKS

Hi Susan,
Having come across this thread by chance, it seems a fitting place for me to comment. I would like to thank you for replying to me in the Psychic forum, and also PM'ing me. The information and insights you gave me about myself and family are very very accurate and I hope to be at that level of development myself some day. You are most welcome to give me further insights and guidance should you receive anything. I found your comments most encouraging and received them just when I needed them. Thank you so much.

Love and Healing Light to you[sm=love-smiley-009.gif][sm=FIFangel.gif][sm=love-smiley-009.gif]

Hi Kath,

I am sorry to hear that you had such an awfull experience with the street psychic you met.
I can relate to what you have said about waiting for something bad to happen.
A psychic once told my godmother that she would get an illness in her mid 40's which would be life threatening. This became a self forfilling prophecy, because she believed she would, she acted as though she would & worryed herself sick in anticipation.
She is 50 tomorrow and is physically fit & but has developed a nervous disorder.
Anyone who gives a reading or insight, they should as Pauline Maria says look at it as a form of healing. In other words to help heal a wound not create one.

Like I say what a responsability!!!!!!!!

RE: The huge responability involved in reading

I must have been meant to find this thread again today (through the search engine no less)...and when I first saw it I got the years mixed up from 2005 to 2006. My apologies that I did not respond to all the replies but I felt that I needed to say something..and did not at the time. Susan from the start of my joining HP, I have found you to be sensitive and sincere. You are tremendously gifted spiritually. Part of your healing process will be in discovering these gifts. You will help other people through your understanding.

Blessings and best wishes
Pauline Maria

Wow,
Just drawn to reply to you! 🙂
It seems like you have an amazing gift that must be a bit daunting and humbling at the same time.

I dont have anything to add really, I am sure you would use it for the highest good and that it has come to you for a reason.

Susan

You sound like a remarkably loving and wise person. I think you are more than sufficiently aware to handle the responsibility well - you would not be given such a gift without the ability to manage it!

I find on the rare occasions that I have such messages to transmit, that the feeling of love is the clue to 'rightness'. If there is heaviness I protect myself and wait and see. You clearly feel the great love that spirit has for the receivers of your messages and that suggests to me that the information is from a high source.

Blessings on you
