Hi all
this is the first time I've ever felt such a block when trying to do a reading, somone asked me today to do a reading for them & I can't.....I don't know why I just can't...it's like there is no spark in my brain at all...& I feel so guilty because she's paid, I have just wrote to her & told her I'll try again tomorrow & if I still can't I'll do it at a later date free of charge...but this is the first time I've felt so blank & it's really odd...I've had hard readings before but not this,.....yuk.....maybe I've forgotton how to[sm=confused-smiley-012.gif]

Hi Amy, Don't feel guilty, it happens. Can't you just give the money back? Perhaps today wasn't a good day for you, and you'll feel better tomorrow, if you still can't connect, maybe there is a reason why no information is being given, and it may have nothing to do with you, but can be related to the path of the individual, depending on what their agenda is, just a thought!

I am exactly the same at the moment and have tried about 3 times to do some readings but nothing comes, not even with my fairy cards which are usually the ones to break through.
Take you time and don't rush it as it will only frustrate you more, just relax and go and do something else for a while and then come back to them, if there is still a blank go away again. It will come back eventually just takes some time.
I am sure that the lady will understand, and that she can have another reading when it has come back. Somtimes also it is the person you are reading for that can block it.

I think I know what happend now, I got a lovelly email of the lady this morning, it turned out that she had a bad headache last night which I wonder may of been why I got a dull headache whilst trying to read for her & also her daughter had a baby last night, so I supose this being her first grandchild she was on the threshold of going through some major changes anyway.
I would so much prefer to offer readings through my website & ony take payment if the person felt the reading to be right for them, I think I feel a bit pressured to get a reading done asap when it's paid upfrount...maybe I'll try it & see how honest people are;)
It worried me a bit that I couldn't read for her as I was starting to read from the cards instead of the heart so that was why I stopped myself from trying as it would of felt dishonest:(...anyway, I've got the weekend to do it now as she's off visiting her new grandaughter:D

phew...I managed to do the lady's reading in the end & have just got an email back from her saying that it was spot on....what a releif!!
I'm just wondering though, is there anyone else here who offers readings who's been feeling as though they're a bit disconnected latley???

i been shut down for a week, nothing whats so ever, although the peace is nice, its getting a little uncomfortable now, how strange.
im glad you managed to do her reading, i find it such a responsibilty when you accepted the offer, i feel the need to deliver.

I have had a lot of spiritual activity
But readings well at the moment I would not have clue what’s for me and others
Or some times whether I am Arthur or Martha its bit like that for me at the moment
And some times like others for some people its just not there and have to wait
and some times its not there at all
but for me some things are all ways there and its defiantly not readings
just flow with it and do what feels best

its going ok, not sure what i am to take from it, but its only been a few weeks, but i feel very welcomed and my confidence is being encouraged.
allowing me to say what i feel no matter how bizarre and then explore what it could represent.

I had a dodgy week, i could still read but it wasn't working for me as I feel it normally should...funny to hear that some oters have ahd the same thing.
My partner and i were thinking i was struggling because life has been a bit chaotic and i have been tired.
When this happens it is probably best not to panic but to take a step back and wait a day or so.
I think most people are understanding and wont worry..i tink provided we keep them up to speed, communicate and explain they usually understand annd accept and in fact appreciate the honesty and care you give them.
They want a good reading and our time and concern/effort rather than rapid service. Although fast retun is good.
I think people get upset when people don't bothe to let them know..sounds like you have done just the right thing,
