I've a ghost in my house, Mrs Millar...she's very sweet and i feel no malevolence but she won't stop tidying. when she moves things and i can't find them i normally ask her to put them back and before long they're returned. However now she has taken a couple of my favourite CDs which I need for my studies, she took those in the winter and also some very important forms for my husbands uk citizenship.
How can I get them back?[:o]
RE: Phantom cleaner
If she is asnice as u say she is she will return them if u ask her nicely and honestly simply tell her that u need them for your work

RE: Phantom cleaner
I guess I should be thankful that she's willing to pick up after me! LOL!
But you're right she always returns things only this time she's moved things that are a bit too important. I'll sit tight as I'll get them back when I'm ready to have them!

RE: Phantom cleaner

RE: Phantom cleaner
Hi Grubfaerie,
I sometimes wish I had a phantom cleaner - might give my messy housemates something to think about! I have a hairbrush phantom! Ever since I was a kid, my hairbrush disappears every now and again from my dressing table. I even have two brushes now for those "just in case" moments, and I am having one of those moments now. One of the hairbrushes has disappeared for about a week now.
Usually, I ask "whoever" to return it and it usually turns up a few days later on my dressing table in a place where I KNOW it wasn't before.
It doesn't spook me, I just wish I knew who it was because they've been doing it for years and I have moved several times since I was a kid and I just view it as one of those things that happens. Perhaps my hairbrush phantom knows Mrs Millar?
