I wrote a thread a few days ago "Meeting Someone From A Past Life", me and the boy I mentioned in that thread have learned more about who we were in our past lives, he was a woman, born november 5th 1945, and I was a man, about 10 years older than him, the location was either victorian era england, or a nearby location. We have discovered a signifigant location on our own, there was a word we both liked and had in online names on different websites, that we both wanted as part of our real name "Skye"
I got an overwhelming urge to look up the word in google, and I found that there is a Skye Isle in Scotland, which benig part of the UK is near england, and matches the area my friend estimated us to be in during the past life. We were trying to do some genealogy research, even using tools like ancestry.com, but aren't having very good luck. The main thing I have to go on is a woman born in 1845 on november 5th that either lived in or was born in skye. I have a very strong feeling that Skye is where we were both living as children.
If anyone has any advice on genealogy research, please do tell. We are both finding our connection to be quite extraordinary. I never knew I missed him so much until I found him, and now that I've found my precious friend again in this life, I won't lose him again. 🙂

I don't think you are going to have any luck down the genealogy route, as you really need names to work with, in order to find a familial link. My OH works in genealogy and he says you need more information if you think that your past lives may have been within a specific family. There is a website specific to Scottish ancestry - you could do some research there perhaps - Genealogy Scottish family birth records census ancestry Scotland uk - ScotlandsPeople

I'm pretty sure I've been on this mortal plain more than once, but am happy to live in blissful ignorance as to just who I 'might' have been.

(1945 isn't Victorian era, by the way, however 1845 is - and Skye is around 250+/- miles from England - not that close really)

Also, victorian England, is typified by victorian london, whereas scotland at the time, especially the remote areas like the islands (such as Skye) were not as influenced by victorian living. Come to think of it, Skye is still quite a remote place, though easier to get to now. Lovely for walking and if you like wool hehe! 🙂

i'm sorry, I was extremely tired when I wrote this thread and just realized I wrote some things incorrectly, for one, I meant 1845, NOT 1945,
and I know skye isn't very close, I meant as in the whole region, we didn't have a specific area in the UK for sure, he just thought it could have been england.
