RE: Let's talk colours

well i seem to be drawn to this Violet flame colour at mo. But also yesterday I was thoroughly aware of how Pale-and I mean really anemic white- my feet were yesterday while in Yoga Posture. I looked around and saw lots of other feet looking healthy and tanned!! Mine looked silky like Mily white Opalxx

RE: Let's talk colours

Yep there is a reason why a lot of people are drawn to pink as well as viuolet/silver

Silver and violet are responsable for transmutation of dross and negative baggage that we cary around and within us. The angels have given us the silver violet flame to cleanse and clear the way.

Pink-thats for unconditional love and it is with love that we become stars in the night sky.

Love
Ithar:)

RE: Let's talk colours

Hi, seem we have alot of violet and pinks
Here a Few
Soft Pink and Shell Pink
The Pastel shade of Pink indicateda a Nurturing Love, Devotion, Tenderness, reverence, and sensitivity to other Life-forms and the needs they possess. This is a giving color, an unselfish color.
The presence of this color may indicate this type of love is natural to the individual, or that the individual will receive this type of love from another, or the individual is in need of developing these qualities in themselves.

RE: Let's talk colours

DEEP OR DARK PINK
What's interesting about this color is that it represent a lack of self-confidence, a type of insecurity possessed by an individual when it comes to the emotions. Because of deep seated fears of losing the love they crave, they tend to cling too tightly or " smother" the object of their desire or love. Possessiveness and jealousy are represented by the deep dark shade of Pink, which are strong emotions. However these qualities can be elevated once an individual realizes they are worthy of love and have no need to "control" or "manipulate" others in order to receive love.

VIOLET PINK
Self-Realization is the key word for this color. It represents artistic expresion, creativity, and attainment. Violet Pink also symbolizes Intuitive Understanding of the way the Universe is structured and the law which govern it.
This is the color of a Seeker on the Spiritual Path.

Interesting what you say about the Dark pink, I used to wear it a lot and now I find almost uncomortable wearing it. I much prefer soft pinks

Wat about evading Pink? I dont do pink as a general rule, though have one top which was given to me that has combination of dark and light pink and i feel pretty in it! Apart from this I dont wear it, and for years have been quite averse to it until recently. I am softening to it. But I dont suit light pink pink i dont think so thats another reason for avoiding it.
When i was a little girl i had a duvet cover with billions of various different coloured pink & purple flowers which I adored.

RE: Let's talk colours

Hi Lightwinds,

Whats your take on my 3 year old son being crazy about anything yellow, he has been for over a year now, we know instantly which he will pick if there is a choice, but he also seems to associate yellow as good, i.e. when he is playing with his toys yellow is always the goodie.

Secondly he wants to paint his room yellow, what type of yellow do you think would be a good yellow given that he needs to sleep there.

Strangly he doesn't like the sun.

Thanks

RE: Let's talk colours

Hi Ithar, I feel during our lives we carry "colour moods" I call it, so as we grow in our experiences in life we tend to move away from certain heavey colors to the more softer tones as we begin to exsept our journey here on earth.
It's bit like people Arua's that change over the years.

If I go up the road to the shops I would notice maybe a lady dress in a yellow skirt and maybe wearing a black top
Black not a bad colour, people who tend to wear alot of black, dont always have alot of confidance with themselves, or can be abit insercure. Yellow and black together, would be saying the person can be full of love and life, but can easly become quite negitive if their feelings have been hurt in someway and it could take them a while to talk to you again.

RE: Let's talk colours

Hi eve, pinks can be lovely to wear, if you have like a dark pink jumper then I would say wear a white skirt, the white would help the person to deal with the fears they have.

Hi Saffron, I would say your little chap has chosen a very good spiritual color, and it would help bring him joy and a being of a happy heart. I would choose not too bright of yellow for his room, tone it down to a pale yellow as it has the characteristic of purity and innocence to it. Mystical and gentle in it manifestation, maybe add medium blue, this color indicates Serenity, Balance, and Blessings. As one look's to the blue Sky, they will always see the golden Sun shinning even if it not their.
hope this helps

RE: Let's talk colours

Violet White
This is the color of the 7th Chakra Center referred to as the "Crown Chakra".
It indicates Spiritual Growth, Wisdom, Universal Truth, faith, and humor. It is a healing color, life-giving and restorative. Violet White is also associated with the Christ Conscoiusness and Spiritual Understanding. This too, is the color of a Seeker on the Spiritual Path, but one who is even more dedicated and fixed of purpose. Many of the Saints had this color prominent in their Auras, although they are not the only ones who possess this color. Writers, artists, priests, priestesses, nuns, and others who have dedicated their life to spiritual pursuits also possess this color in their aura.

RE: Let's talk colours

In another thread Ithar told me her guides told her for me to use blue and blue green. I thought this fits best here. When I married for a second time, my husband already had a home that was on the most beautiful piece of land you could ever want. But the home was awfull, blue house, blue carpet, blue furniture, blue kitchen and blue toilet. He had been single for 7 years and was raising two small children. Over the past 19 years I have managed to erase all the blue from this house and bring color into his life. I was about to take the last step and paint the outside of the house this summer. We agreed on a nice sage green. He scraped and washed the house down and we were ready last week. I stepped back and looked at the house with my purple door and astounded him. I liked my blue house and we will not be painting. As soon as I said it, my mind filled with Ithar's info about surrounding myself with blue.[sm=banghead.gif] Yes, I am hard headed. Comforting to know that I had been led to this man with his blue house as he has an energy that I need and evidently try to avoid.

RE: Let's talk colours

Reddish Brown or Terra Cotta
This is karmic color indicating past-life violence, it can indicate jealousy directed towards the individual. This color can represent a difficult challenge or lesson ahead for the individual to face and deal with. It may even appear to be a restriction or limitation to the individual until they willingly decide to correct errors they have made in the past, and forgive the errors others have made concerning them. Once this decision is reach, the burden or limitation is lifted.

GOLDEN YELLOW
This color symbolizes Soul-Grace or Soul-gift. The Active Mind has achieved union with the Creative Mind of the Universe, true Wisdom is now possible, true Knowledge is avaiable for the individual to utilize. It is the color of Spiritual Blessings, of richness both materially and spiritually. The blessing is granted to those individuals who know how to use and share their Prosperity in a postive constructive ways to help other to Achievement.

Just rereading the color posts this morning. We remodeled our garage and breezeway into one huge dining room and living room last year. I have been using a lot of terra cotta tile. Golden yellow is on the walls along with copper and a very dark green. Then a lot of golden yellow wood floors. Golden yellow is my most favorite color and I find so many people do not use yellow in their wardrobe or homes. My husband and I are definitely working our past life Karmas. We did regresssions and found several lives where we had killed each other. Both of us are very pacifistic in this lifetime but I can see where jealousy has been an issue from time to time.

RE: Let's talk colours

[sm=sad2.gif] Blue house, black roof, white shutters. How boring. I did the rainbow house first. Painted front porch deep red, yellow trim on windows, green shutter and painted the door cobalt blue and it had four panels so I painted each with a scene for the four winds, ocean, evergreen trees on mountains, Billowing clouds of the sky and bright sunrise. We kept adding decks, now have seven and I would just buy whatever stain that someone had rejected and had been marked down really cheap, so have coral and tourquoise, sand, and various shades of blue and aquas.[sm=speechless-smiley-040.gif] but we loved it. Now I am ready to move on and actually moved the front door. New door is purple with evergreen and a lavender grey trim and once washed down the blue has faded and is very good. The indoors is so earthen, I think the upper chakra colors on the outside give it the necessary balance. My daughter and two grandsons share our home with us and each got to pick the theme for their room. The youngest one is painted like the inside of a pyramid with a mural of a descent into the pyramid on one was and the older chose Native American as he plays the flute but he really wanted black carpet!

RE: Let's talk colours

i love primary colours. my living room is sunshine yellow, my kitchen a more lemony yellow with cobalt blue tiles, & my spare bedroom (where i have my desk & stuff) is a very bright blue. the hallway & stairs are in minty green (not very happy about that!), & my bedroom has green on cream checked wallpaper below the rail, & yellow (relatively subtle)floral print above. yuk!

does this say anything?

Hi Wendy

I love the way this thread just won't lie down ... it keeps bubbling back up to the surface!

I came across this the other day ... Pink Tuesday. Have you heard of it? I hadn't. It's a new cult, apparently ... people wear pink on a Tuesday, call themselves "pinkies", and there's even a forum here as well:

One to rival Red Hat, perhaps? Inspired by the poem "When I am old I shall wear purple, and a red hat that doesn't go ..... "

Laura.

To me , your colour represent an awareness of the of spirit around you and also your intuition is very strong. I would say, your the first to offer healing to anyone that need a shoulder to cry on. Your office is your peace"your time out" You strive for a happy family invirment and I would say argument dont last long, because the joy of making up stems from the green.
you may like to organize roteors the best you can for family, keeping things, ship shape.

Speaking of yellow my kitchen is Vibrant yellow (duck yellow):D
The main bedroom is green (apple green) very relaxing and peaceful I find. I got told of my guides to meditate in there and not my therapy room[&:] Mind you the energy in the main bedroom is great.

Living room is magnolia with gold sheen painted over it, so when you look at it from different angles it shines golden:)[sm=nature-smiley-008.gif]
Tericcota suite

colours definatly reflect moods, and personalities and feel
