I don't kow if you have read 'The Celestine Prophecy' or whether I am going over old ground with you, but have any of you noticed how many coincidences there are these days.

I could go on for hours about the coincidences I see in my life - my best friend and I only met because we started the same teacher training course together - I only started it becouse I thought it would fit in with my kids, but as a psychologist, she only started it because it was on a leaflet that stuck to her foot in the cinema, and she thought, or at least convinced herself, that it might complement her work.

Having known her a year, she moved house, and moved into the only house I had already been to in the area (it had been the house of a friend of my husband, who had gone a bit funny once we'd got married, & we hadn't seen for years)- so I had the uncanny experience of already having been in the new house that she'd bought.

I could go on and on about the coincidences in my life ( meeting my brother in the backstreets of a city, when we neither of us knew we were in the same place; my cousin being asked to translate a phrase into Welsh - and being asked the only phrase she knew, one which I'd taught her the year before!) As I say, when you look at your own life, there are a series of coincidences apparent, which if you take notice, lead you further along your chosen path

I don't know whether this has any significance, but I would ask you to look to yourself - if there are coincidences coming along, then perhaps you are on the first step too - the first step to what, I don't know. Only you can.

RE: Coincidences

Hi Lazyhoss,

I too have read all the Celestine Prophecy books and was completely blown away!. I started to notice a lot of coincidences in my life (also known as synchronicity).
Today has been one of them!. I was on my way to my local Councils office to give Reiki de-stressing sessions to the staff there, for 9am. Driving down the dual carriage way I heard a noise that didn't sound right coming from the back of the car so I turned off at the next roundabout to find somewhere to pull in and check what was happening. There was a pub with a large carpark so I pulled into there. When I checked it was my tyre, not flat but in shreds!!!! Luckily (!) there was a van parked there with two men and another man leaning through the window talking to them. I went over and told them what had happened and asked if they could help. One man asked if I was in the AA which I wasn't so they got out of the van and with the other man they went to look at my tyre. I then remembered I didn't have a wheelbrace in the boot and told them this to which they replied "bloody hell woman you're really pushing your luck!!!" (but laughing when saying it). They searched their van?car and came up with one that fitted my tyre and between the three of them they changed the wheel. They were laughing and saying they weren't quite up to Brands Hatch speed for changing tyres but they were doing their best!!.

One of them said,"I was already stressed about work this morning without having you come along!" to which I answered "well that's strange because I am on my way to de-stress staff at the Council offices" and told them I was a Reiki healer. They were genuinely interested and asked if it worked on stress, saying they all worked for the same company and wished that their company offered that to their staff. I then said that as an exchange of energy I would come to their company and give them each a Reiki treatment for being so kind. They asked for one of my leaflets which I gave them. They then commented on the fact that I did not seem at all stressed considering what had happened and that I was now running late for my appts. I said that was because I knew my Guardian Angel would take care of me and he had, he had found me 3 more, at which they went all sheepish and blushed(bless them!!).

As it turned out when I got to the offices I found a parking space sraight away (very rare) and my first appt was at 9.30 so I wasn't late. So, what do you think about that?. I think I was meant to meet those men so I could help THEM out so the tyre did it's job!!

Love and light

RE: Coincidences

It's just amazing when you think if all the coincidences, isn't it - about two years ago I went on holiday with the kids to Wales, leaving my husband in Kent (well, someone had to pay for it!)

On the way back, while I would have normally called into my mum & dad's (I'm Welsh), they were on holiday, but out of very grudging duty I called to my Aunt's house, who I hadn't seen for about 10years. Once I pulled up in her street, my tyre completely deflated - it was only by asking my Aunt, (who then rang up my cousin, who came from the other side of town, who happened to have the exact same car - I said this was Wales!) that I had the car fixed and safe.

Who would have known what would have happened if I'd carried on to the motorway - let this be a lesson to you!!!!!!

Oh my word, I'm sounding ancient!

I can't say I've always done the 'right' thing since - but its certainly something to bear in mind - especially when caught in traffic and getting irate - the last time that happened someone jumped the light coming from the other direction - if it hadn't been for the learner driver holding up the traffic in front of me then I might not be typing today!

All I can think is the coincidences have a purpose - some purpose we can't quite see yet. Just go with it and progress inthe way that feels right, & it'lll all come right in the end

Light & Love
