aren't teeth something to do with the fear of losing your youth or looks?

I have had the same teeth dream for nearly 2 years now. In my dream, I am fine and surronded by friends or family, and my teeth start to bleed and crumble, and then i am spitting them out, and it feels so so real. Whoever is in my dream just ignors me and just say i am making a fuss and just get on, but it gets to the point where i am begging people to believe me, with a handful of broken teeth. It is really upsetting. But this week it has developed into i am dreaming again about my teeth but it is 'real life' and i am trying to covience everyone that my dream has come true, it was only when i woke up i realised i was dreaming about a dream. Strange. I am concerned i may have a problem with my teeth and that i should see a dentist just to be safe. I have suffered from a stiff jaw over the last two years caused my stress which has come back this week. Not sure if i am mad or in a weird way my sub conscience is telling me there is a problem...any ideas? Or do I just have major issues!! : - )

Are you wanting to tell someone something and stopping yourself?

You could try asking beckyboop if she could look it up in her book - Your Body Speaks Your Mind by Deb Shapiro Your Body Speaks Your Mind by Deb Shapiro

I would be really interested to know what that dream means as my g/f has had a very similar dream for years - She keeps dreaming that her teeth are crumbling and falling out - It has affected her so much that even in real life she is starting to worry and think about knocking them out when doing something simple such as walking down the road!

Any idea of what it could actually mean would be really interesting!

Hi Steverobbo,
I have "The Dream Bible" by Brenda Mallon and she interprets crumbling teeth as-
" does it represent something that is breaking down and being crushed so that it no longer has any form or strength? Is your spirit being crushed?
If the teeth then appear to choke you "are you forcing yourself to keep your feelings and thoughts to yourself"

She says that dreaming of losing teeth happens when there are major changes in your life eg. move away, separation from familiar surroundings.

Baby dreams, Rayne1958, tend to be linked to new developments in your life (or fresh starts or learning new skills), or where you are connecting to previously hidden abilities and potential.

I am a vivid dreamer too and like you remember them for ages after (hence buying the dream interpretation book!!!)

Hi rayne1958,

Breasts signify love, affection, intimacy and nurturing.
" Bosom of the family" and "make a clean breast of it" can also be interpreted.

Legs connect us to the earth and carry us around. They represent firmness and power. Skeletons tend to represent death whereas single bones suggest getting to the "bare bones" or a "bone of contention".

Hospitals seem to relate to anxiety not always acknowledged.

Hope your o/h feels better soon.
