Spiders in dreams can mean different things but very often they are a sign that an aspect of your shadow self would like to express itself. Children aged six or seven often get spider dreams because that is when the shadow self is busy being formed.

The shadow self, just to remind anyone who isn't sure, is the 'unacceptable' part of ourselves - the aspects of us that do not fit in with what is ok in our culture.

So, without stretching the point too far, sheangel, you can view your spider dreams as a gift, a chance to reclaim some part of you that has been shut away for too long.

The spiders may be surfacing now because there is something in your life that is not acceptable, yet hard to deal with. The energy locked into your spider imagery could be highly useful in sorting out such a problem.

When you're awake, imagine yourself back in the dream and this time, tell the spiders that you see them and respect them. Ask them what message they would like to give you, and reassure them that you will listen with care. Then just see what comes up.

Remember, there is no such thing as a bad dream. All dreams are here to help us 🙂
