The other night, and not for the first time, I had a truely awful dream for any mother. I dreamt I lost my two year old son while out and about, I searched everywhere in the place we were and CCTV showed him being led away by someone, someone I couldnt recognise.
My situation is that I am a single mummy of an amazing 2 year old son, his dad 16 months ago left our lives altogether but I have always since we split when he was 3 months old had a deep set fear of him being taken by him.
Is that all this dream relates too or does it mean something else?
I believe that the important part of any dream is the feeling behind it - I would say, on a basic level that yes, your dream is probably as straight forward as it seems, but in the way you wrote it, there was a strong feeling of helplessness - are you feeling helpless about anything in your life right now? Deep down I'm sure you know no one is going to take your son away from you, so maybe there is something else in your life that you feel you have no control over that is producing the same emotion...
