I was working for someone else, not myself, I ran out of paint and had to go buy somemore even though I was working for someone else. Then someone said they had two tins to give me.
It was all very odd.
I am quite busy and stressed with my life. Perhaps it is saying I have a lot to do.
There was lots of nature surrounding me when I had to drive to the shop to buy paint and get a Mcdonalds lol. Lots of openspace and lakes and rivers to my right.
What does this bizarre dream mean, if anything?
Your Dream
It is not desirable to interpret dreams without seeing and understanding where you are coming from. I can give you a gist of it. As you are stressed there is a suggestion that you are allowing others to live your life for you, and you are desperately trying to disguise this by painting over the house, and people are willing to help you in this by giving you the paint. The fact that you allow them is because you don't have a strong enough stance of your own and so your own inner saboteurs come up, just like the people in your life, and give you the paint. In the dream you are not choosing the paint, but being given it. The only steady symbol is the house, which is youself. Are you carrying people without knowing it - either therapeutically or in your personal life? This is likely to stress you.
The landscape around you describes the more natural and instinctive side of yourself - and this you cannot paint over - and is all around you.
