Hi Eleison

The way I look at it is that you are either one or the other - that is why a precise birth time is needed so that you can work out exactly which sign you are.

I have a friend who always thought she was a Leo until the astrologer told her she's definitely a Virgo.

Do you have any feelings about which one applies most to you?

I'm on the cusp of aquarius/pisces. I think I'm more aquarius, but I definately have some pisces traits which are becoming more prevalent as I get older.

I was born at 5.35 pm! [on the 21st]

But.. I'm sensitive, emotional and dreamy PLUS firey and passionate and determined and forceful.
I was born very premature too, two months early...

My daughter was born on the cusp or Pisces-Aries. She too is an Ariean, but I think I can see differences that I would atribute to a Piscean!

The Piscean traits could well be because your progressed sun has been moving through Pisces. The system of progressions most astrologers use is called secondary progressions or a day for a year method. You may also have other piscean influences as well as the progressed sun.

The word cusp means a border between one house/sign and another. I personally don't believe that the sun is influenced by pisces if for example it is in Aries. Signs are further divided up into decanates (3 in number) which are ruled by planets so for example if someone has a sun at O degrees 12minutes of Aries then Mars is the ruler of the sign and ruler of the decanate so they have a double influence of Mars.
