As mentioned at the end of yesterday's calendar entry, tensions are growing - as they always do -- at the time of a First Quarter Sun-Moon Phase (1:34AM PDT). This clash between Sun and Moon energizes 26 degrees of Libra and Capricorn, and also begins a void lunar cycle that lasts until 9:53AM PDT. You want to be very cautious, careful and conservative during this 8+ hour twilight zone of void lunar activity. It is probably okay to complete old business, but don't be in any kind of rush to launch large-scale enterprises. However, the horizon should clear up starting at 9:53AM PDT as the Moon enters service-oriented Aquarius. Team sports, group projects, community events and humanitarian movements are back on center stage. Think more about ways to help others than fulfilling your own needs. The big news of the day is Chiron pausing in the zodiac (11 degrees of Aquarius), and shifting from reverse to forward (close to 11:28AM PDT). [Chiron will continue to move direct until it makes another halt and goes retrograde on May 25, 2008 at 22 degrees of Aquarius.] All Chiron themes - the 'wounded healer,' eliminating old pains and fears, building rainbow bridges linking personality and soul, keys opening doors to higher consciousness, holistic healing, alternative medicine, advances in science and technology, UFOs and ETs, the Ageless Wisdom teachings, shamanistic rituals and practices, meditation and oracles -- are active now and over the next few days. Amplifying your ability to grow, evolve and take advantage of educational opportunities are Mercury making a 60-degree sextile to Saturn (6:55AM PDT), the Moon parallel to Jupiter (1:22PM PDT), and Mercury parallel to Neptune (5:33PM PDT). The Mercury-Neptune link suggests your being very circumspect when it comes to business matters and signings. However, it is a great aspect in terms of explorations in photography, film and video work, music, theater arts, painting and dance. All in all, this can be a day of amazing breakthroughs and great transformations on your higher destiny path.
