Hi,

You could try the Faculty of Astrological Studies website they list diploma holders in and around London.

It is probably good if you have an idea of whether you would like a traditional approach, or a more modern psychological approach of interpreting your chart.

Thanks. Oh I had not even thought of that- what would the traditional approach entail then? Im very new to all this- well actually I know very little 🙂

Here is a very brief view on the two types of astrology mentioned above

Traditional astrology uses the 7 main planets Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars Jupiter Saturn and the planets Venus and Jupiter are seen as benefics (good) whereas Mars and Saturn are malefics (bad) - of course depending on the aspects.

Whereas Psychological astrology uses the additional Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and maybe Chiron looking at how the planets all play a part in personal growth.

Yes and another main difference is that psychological astrology interprets those planets as informing of certain archetypal and symbolic functionings and processes taking into account the free will of the individual, as opposed to the "traditional" which could be rather deterministic and linear.
