Just to remind you all that this years Questing Conference is nearly upon us.It is to be held as usual at Cecil Sharp House, near Regents Park on saturday 5th November. There will be an impressive array of speakers, including organiser Andrew Collins, as well as Graham Philips (always an interestingspeaker), Philip Gardiner, Ian Lawton and Colin Wilson, all leading lights in the 'alternative history' genre. On Sunday Caroline Wise and Andrew Collins will be leading a walkabout in London visiting ancient God and Goddess sites, which soundsfascinating if I have any energy left. Saturday will be a long day, starting at 10am, with the last speaker at 8.15 pm. I believe some tickets are still left, butwill soon go, so if you are interested, then get ringing. Still haven't booked mine, so had better get ringing myself on that note.

RE: This years Questing Conference
Hi Talisman
I am sure I should know this - but what is "questing"? I have heard the term before but never got round to finding out.
It all sounds v interesting!
Thanks

RE: This years Questing Conference
psychic questing is a term used by Andrew Collins to denote a kind of psychically driven treasure hunt, where one is looking for information on certainthings, ortrying to solve for example a puzzle and the information comes via psychic forces, such as in dreams, or compulsions to visit certain places, pick up certain books etc. This I feel is theme that many others here could probably relate to, including myself.
For a clearer definition though click here

RE: This years Questing Conference
Interesting topic. Recommend any books that will tell me how to pursue my own quest?
I keep getting attracted to Guildford for some odd reason.
RE: This years Questing Conference
Not sure if there any books really that will help you with this Darren, since it is laregly a case of letting go and being guided to where you need to be. As for Guildford, only you will know what it means to you. To me is a large town down the A3 with a cathedral, university and shopping centre. I am sure there must be more to it than that though.

RE: This years Questing Conference
I was going on Saturday but now I am not. Tch!
I used to do lots of questing at one time, and only recently have got back into it. My friend and I have been questing down in Dorset. What fun!
Love,
Patsy.

what a shame Patsy, it would have been nice to have met up, if I ever get round to phoning for a ticket that is. Do please tell us more about your quests, I am sure others would find it very interesting.

I figured it might be a case of that.
And yes it is all that. But for some strange reason I keep ending up in Guildford or thereabouts, even though I didn't specifically want to be!
