Thought some of you may be interested to have a read of this, from one of my favourite magazines. It makes an interesting read.

RE: Archeological Cover ups
Thanks for the link, June. I remember reading it in the physical magazine.
'Conspiracy'? It's a strong word, and what is actually happening is so strong (against the truth) that it has, IMO, entered a grey area where one might call it conspiracy or not. I don't think I quite would. But it sure isn't science.
It's the totally irrational and emotional reaction we see toward many other 'forbidden' beliefs, though evidence may overwhelmingly be on the side of those beliefs. It's also in the area of paradigm shift: that the established departments and academics will hold sway until they die and another generation supplants them, one supposes.
'Forbidden Archeology' is a monumental work; and the revelations about the real (minimum) age of the sphinx according to geologist Schoch is also a lovely blow - a delightful thing to see. 😉
P.S. In the case of the pyramids and the sphinx, it's not just current academic views of history that are being challenged, which is why it is so tough to get at the truth in Egyptology. The people who today live in Egypt have a great psychological stake in feeling that these great monuments are 'theirs'. But if they turn out to be much older, they are no more Egyptian than some building we might find in England dated to 15,000 BCE would be Celt. I found a vein of inferiority complex toward other cultures among many Egyptians: even their TV soaps or the poster-ads have to depict people with a skin colour evidently not that of almost any Egyptians, for example. The ancient monuments are one thing they are IMO internally, psychologically desperate to think of as 'theirs'. But since the sphinx was built at least 12,000 years ago (and possibly millennia before that) it clearly has nothing to do with the people now living in that land.

Ah yes, ^^^^ and the Sphynx shows evidence of water erosion. Isn't that fascinating. Its too bad truely wonderfull things are hidden from the public. Since when have we heard of the update on the passages in the Great Pyramid? In the emerald tablets of Thoth, Thoth says that the halls of Amenti are underneath the great pyramid, and much eternal ancient wisdom lyes within.
This subject of the ancient that we have yet to know is so amazing and interesting! I wanna quite my job and become an archeologist!

In my experience, if you ge really focussed and know what you are looking for, even with a 9 to 5 job it is possible to take 2-3 weeks of your holiday leave and go right to a controversial site, and discover quite a lot that others have overlooked. It's always possible!
I'd forgotten this thread and thanks, June, again, for the link. It's long been blindingly obvious to me that this is going on, in archeology possibly more than any other area of research in fact. I met Michael Cremo some months back and that was illuminating too. In fact, at the time, the idea was afoot to have an HP meet-up, perhaps in London, around him and one of his talks, but it was uncertain who would turn up.

You know what, your right venetian. I wonder if they let you go onto site when they are digging up things. I would be very upset if they said,"oh no, you cant come and look at what is part of your history." And thats exactly what the (government?) is doing. I guess they wanna keep inflicting fear, and get rid of hope.
I bet you we could discover so much more than the mainstream excavators, for we with open minds have no limitations.
