hey, i was turned on to this site and cared to share with you! i think it's way cool!!!
here you can learn what words look like in ancient egyptian heiroglyphics by typing in your chosen word(s)!
also...the "make a mummy" link leads to much knowledge in how they preserved mummys ... if one is unaware by their step-by-step methods and what insence they used ect.

just a word of mention...if you get an answer wrong on the mummy making part...it doesn't give all the facts...if you get it right, it gives more knowledge about it!
even if you use your 3 free cat clues...so it might be wise to do it over and over again till you get a 100% on it...if your a semi novice on subject!

I have just printed out a saying I want to have as a tattoo and it looks way cool in heiroglyphics, although it will be quite large and long - will have to see what my tattooists can do with them lol!
Just doen the mummy game and I got two wrong first go 100% second - obvioulsy I was only a trainee in past life lol!

Found your post and went onto the site. My daughter has always had a strange fascination for all things Egyptian.
I added the sites to my favourites and showed it to her this morning. She is eight. She LOVES IT!!! I had trouble getting her to eat breakfast, take her bath and she was planning to stay in pjs all day and go on the site.
Thankfully her aunt arrived to take her out and gave her the incentive to move...
Thank you for showing me a great rainy day source of entertainment for her.

Great site. I've been to Eqypt down the Nile and it was wonderful. Would suggest everyone try to go there. Look on teletext for cheap holidays as that is where I get all mine from. Love everything Eqyptian.
