Hi, I am working with a fashion designer who is in the process of launching a business which makes animal-friendly & eco-friendly vegan women’s apparel & accessories. Her primary line will be targeted towards the 25-40 urban professional women.

She feels that the fashion industry needs disruption! There is a huge group of unknowing fashion conscious women out there who will gleefully purchase angora or wool or leather without evening thinking about its origins--"style and luxury at all costs". She wants to provide a choice, a fashionable alternative, something that makes the buyer think while still looking great.

There are quite a few other details, but that's the gist of it. I wanted to get some feedback from the folks here, hear your thoughts, etc.

Thanks,
Steve

Sounds great, assuming of course the prices (and sizes) are right. Why just for women aged 25 - 40 though?

Mainly because we're small and need to be focused but, also that her designs appeal to that age group. They aren't hyper-trendy (in-today-out-tomorrow) but they aren't conservative casual-wear either. They are more of a dressy modern eclectic look, with quite a few vintage inspired pieces.

She's trying to bring modern cruelty-free clothing to a buyer who is currently purchasing wool, angora, silk and other "high-end" animal by-product fibers. If you're a vegan (or are just concerned) and you want to dress up for an event or simply have a dressy job where suits are the norm, then finding clothing that doesn't contain wool or silk or leather can be a nightmare. Virtually every stylish designer and every quality manufacture will use these materials.

By providing a viable alternative where the buyer can be assured that _all_ of her clothing is vegan, they can stop wading endlessly through tags and focus on what matters to them (fit, function, look, immediacy, etc.)

Experiencing my successful modeling history…my fashion dream…I am happy.
I am Jenifer Angela. I am just 18. I was frustrated about what to do ..How to approach into the fashion world. From the childhood I dream to be a successful model in UK…in the fashion world. But I do not know how I will start. One day my friend Alisha told me about Future Faces UK Competition. I believe every person has something God gifted power, just he or she needs to explore that. May be this competition will be the stair of my dream. I just went to join there. Joining Future Faces UK Competition was one of the best things I've ever done for my modeling career. I didn’t have a portfolio so Future Faces helped me to create one, when I arrived at the venue I got my makeup and hair done then produced some fantastic pictures which were then summit into the competition! I’ve never felt so special.” futurefacesuk(dot)com make my dream true. . This is me now it the turn of yours.
