A vegan as i understand it doesnt eat/wear anything from a animal (including milk and so froth) so does this mean vegans do not swallow spearm? i mean it comes from a animal (humans) and are the ones who do just being hypocritical?

Yes its kind of childish but im really curious.

RE: Intresting Question

It's really mainly about exploitation.

As long as the donor and the recipient were willing and had consentedthis would be considered totally appropriate for a vegan.

Breast milk is obviously acceptable too although it's said you may lose the enzymes to digest milk properly after the age of about 5.

RE: Intresting Question

That would be down to the individual vegan. Usually if a person were in this situation, there would be no exploitation or cruelty going on to produce the sperm and no one dies so I can't see the problem.

RE: Intresting Question

The same reason

Due to the exploitation of animals who produce milk. It really is horrific when calves are taken from their mothers just so the milk that was meant for them can be sold by a farmer to make a profit and when cows have been milked that much that their bones shatter and they can't support their body weight due to lack of calcium.

Also, humans lose the ability digest milk properly when they are around 5 years old so it makes sense to stop drinking milk when doing so can adversely affect your health.

Dear Cryaxz and Bucket,

It seems to me - correct me if I am wrong - that you are both friends. You write similarly, probably live together, best mates , lovers etc. What is your beef? - no pun intended. You are welcome to state your views and then perhaps I will be able to understand where you are coming from - no pun intended yet again 😀

Best wishes

RE: Intresting Question

Yes cows need to be milked (BY THEIR CALVES) not to help some farmer join the capitalist machine and maybe put an extension on his house.

What publisher was saying to you was that you and bucket join this forum, and come on here with your first posts trying to antagonise us with your comments. Because the antagonistic quality of your messages was similar, one does wonder if you are not the same person using a different I.D or friends with a joint purpose.

You are welcome to post what you will but don't do so if you are not ready to receive the replies that we give you.

Most people at Healthy Pages are looking for advice or information of some kind and are not here to cause ripples on our forum.

RE: Intresting Question

Your question has already been answered, why would you need to look elsewhere? Is it because you didn't like the answer?

RE: Intresting Question

Explain why I am being hypocritical please? All I have done is to try and answer your question truthfully.

I am not accusing you of being someone else. I didn't say that, I merely pointed out the similarities with yours and buckets posting.

I am sorry you feel that way, but realise that nobody is responsible for the way you feel except you.

All the best.

RE: Intresting Question

Dear Cryraxz,

I am sorry if I have offended you. It is just that I have been on this forum for a few months now and there is a 'way' of talking to everyone. It comes about as respect for all people and all peoples views. There are a lot of views that I personally do not resonate with, but everyone is equal. There isn't a single person on this forum that is better thanme and even more importantly - there isn't a single person here that I am better than. Everyones view is valid and important - just as yours is. But when you want to converse with people its nice to say, 'I think this way' - what do you think?

When you 'bash' people with your views - no-one wants to listen - that is the same for everything you do in life, at work and with friends. So please don't go away, stay awhile, there are some really nice people here and it would be all the richer if you stayed too :).

Best wishes

* mod had on *

Ok, guys, I think we've established that the two new members Cryraxz and Bucket are just coincidentally joining at the same time and posting about strong subjects on this forum (I've noticed that a lot of Vegan / Vegetarian threads get quite heated )

So, apologies all round, I'm sure nobody intended any offence. If we can get back to the topic of the thread please.

* mod hat off *

Many thanks

Love and Reiki Hugs

RE: Intresting Question

What an extraordinary question to ask in the first place. I wouldn't dream of asking such a question on a forum such as Healthypages.

RE: Intresting Question

I think here that the point being made is about the effect that taking products from animals has on the the animal - if that makes sense - so as mentioned in one of the posts the milk from the cow is supposed to be milked from the cow by its young rather than the unatural way it is taken from the cow these days - I have learnt quite a bit recently about the effect of unnatural farming conditions and human internvention on these poor animals and because of this can totally understand the view point of someone being vegan or vegitarian 😉

RE: Intresting Question

We are all over the age of 5 yes, but the majority of us consider our private lives to be private.

I personally thought the question was 'below the belt'!!

I couldn't take it seriously.
