banana cake, banoffee pie, milkshake. oh and the old favourite banana custard
I often give bananas to my dogs, about a quarter of a banana for each dog.
Banana bread!!!
Banana smoothies should use them up pretty quick.
Freeze them in their skins, then defrost to use as an ingredient for banana bread.
Or peel the skins, insert a lolly stick, wrap in clingfilm and freeze - unbelievably, this makes a tasty lolly
Choc chip banana bikkies!! (that's biscuits to all you non-Aussies) 😉
If anyone's still interested in this thread, please respond and I'll share the recipe...
(I used to have a divine banana upside-down cake recipe too, but didn't keep it when I moved house. Again, if there's interest, I could see if I can get it from the friend whose book it was in.)

chocolate chip banana biscuits sound divine....would love the recipe thanks
Right, here it is. This is adapted from one I found online, though I've modified it a bit to suit my taste, as one does with recipes...
Choc Chip Banana Biscuits
2 cups rolled oats
100g almond meal
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 - 1 tsp cinnamon
3 large, ripe bananas, well mashed
1 tsp natural vanilla extract or essence
1/4 cup olive oil
150 - 180g dark chocolate, chopped (or use good quality chocolate chips)
Mix together oats, almond meal, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl. In a larger bowl, combine mashed bananas, vanilla extract and olive oil. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until combined. Fold in chocolate chunks to mix them evenly throughout the dough.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and drop dollops of dough about an inch apart - they can be bite-size (about 2 tsp) or a little larger. Bake at 175C for 12-14 minutes.
This makes anywhere from 30-40+ biscuits depending on the size you make them. They are quite moist, not too sweet, and very delicious - healthy, too! You can vary the size of the choc bits (from shavings to whole chunks), and use sugar-free, vegan or any other specialty chocolate you prefer, as long as it's good quality! Or, if you don't want chocolate, I'm sure it would also work with chopped dried fruit (especially apricots) or berries.
Enjoy!

I freeze banana's whole when they go 'over' defrost and use them for muffins. 🙂
Banana added to a healthy flapjack recipe makes the most deliciously moist flapjack (if you prefer them not to be crunchy).
Yep, I freeze them (I can't eat bananas now if they're at all spotty, so I usually have a window of about two days between ripe and too ripe... so picky!) and then put them straight into bananabread with walnuts. My friend used to make this amazing kind of frozen-banana ice cream, must get the recipe off her...
My dog likes bananas too, I usually give him the little end bit when I've finished eating and will give him old bananas rather than throw them out.
You can make banana bread, banana cookies and banana chips. There are many banana recipes now, I love making banana bread and cookies when we have lots of banana at home. It is my kid’s favorite snacks. I tried to make banana pancakes without using flour it is very tasty.
Pancake! Just use banana and eggs. We saw it on 9gag, and somehow it tasted good? 🙂
