Hi, help!!!

I have been asked to cook a meal for a friend who is having business friends over for dinner! (he can't cook unless it comes out of a packet or tin!!!)

situ is I am a semi vegetarian, I eat fish but i don't eat meat nor poultry eggs, etc.The friend eats most things (but isn't too keen on too much veg) but the people coming for dinner don't eat fish but they eat meat/poultry. I suggested something vegetarian ike risotto but he wants something that he knows they would enjoy. Because i don't eat meat/poultry and haven't done so for over 20 years, (I am sure they would enjoy the risotto....but he is trying to impress!) I can't even bear the thought of touching it....any ideas for dinner? The only thing I could really think of if it has to be meat is to buy like ready meal type of thing with say chicken so I don't physically have to handle it. Then to do some fresh veg and some potatoes.

I also have to do a starter and desert....but have some ideas for those.

In my case I will have to probably cook something seperate for me!

Thanks

How about two types of lasagne, one meat and one veg, with lots of garlic bread and salad? This would be easy and people could take what they wanted. I often do this and find that the vegetable one is as popular with carnivores and us veggies.

luv 'Bella 😉
