Hi,
I just wondered if anyone has any advice of experience of recording a guided relaxation/ meditation.
Thanks
Ellie
I used to record relaxations (which were guided meditations by another, more professional name ).
Feedback was that they were never as effective as the actual one-to-one at which they were recorded, but a lot better than nothing..
Of course then I was matching the client's breathing, etc. And, for believers, there is the "presence" element, as I was relaxing myself too. This entrainment effect has now been confirmed by brainwave scans, btw.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. How did you record them, I am wondering about the technicalities of recording them.
I record all my sessions, so it was just a matter of taking the recording and cutting out the bit I wanted, and emailing it to the client.
I use a small digital recorder.
