Hey everyone

As someone with a passion for freedom, I'm always interested in what people want freedom from or of. Eg, Freedom from financial pressures or freedom to do what you want to do, when you want to do it.

So, what kind of freedom do you all crave? I'm genuinely interested to know.:dogrun

In love, light and abundance x x x

I consider my self fairly free. For me freedom is being free from rules, regulations and all the other such crap that we are subjected to by society.

Being free for me is being free to follow my heart, live and let live...

Pretty much the same as James. Does this mean the UK is the wrong country to live in?

Anyway, my current goal is financial freedom. With financial abundance, one has more choices.

I think I'd like to be free from worrying too much about what other people think of me. Seems a minor thing but you'd be surprised at how many different feelings you generate because of it and how often it saps your confidence. 🙂

I don’t have any personal needs for freedom really, sometimes my personality takes over too much and I get frustrated with things, usually my husband:rolleyes:. But when I relax my soul comes back through and re-balances everything. I think some of you may call this meditation.

I accept all the experiences in my life; be they positive or negative as a necessary part of my journey in this life. I find life a fascinating experience, a bl**dy hard and painful one at times but fascinating all the same.

But…… If I could make one wish for freedom then it would be that my Mother could be free from her inner-demons. But this is her journey and it is not in my power to give such a gift. It does sadden me though, so….. if I was granted that one wish it would be that she could find peace before she leaves this world.

And Treacle you shouldn’t doubt yourself. You have a special gift, you make people smile and laugh. You are a natural balancer in life. We need people like you to help counter-balance all the sadness in the world. I always open your posts with a happy heart. You keep doing your thing Treacle. X

Oh R, my heart goes out to you, reading your post. Very true what you say in that it's her journey. I have been there and can understand. Now I don't know what to put for my needs for freedom.....

For me, I think I would like to say freedom from mortgage, stress, negative people but really it would be "Freedom from worry, full stop". We would feel so much better if we didn't worry about things, but then there are things in life that you have to worry about, its catch 22

P.S. Treacle, keep the avatar, makes me smile just looking at it, you are such a laugh and I am glad you are here 🙂

Love Rachel

A really interesting question.... I can relate to soooo many of the replies. I do feel we have a choice whether or not to feel stressed about money, etc - albeit it ain't easy to let go of fears and worries I know!! LOL

I think, ultimately, I would like freedom from trap of modern society in terms of paying a mortgage and being reliant upon money to get along in life. Sounds idealistic I know, but I love bartering with people for things as the energy exchange there always seems to me to be more pure... hope that makes sense 🙂

I would like freedom from the national grid -
no pylons, no TV (especially inane advertising), no computer, no harsh electric light unless generated from our own windmill...One day.
