Hi there,
Just wondering if I could 'pick' people's brains. I am doing a degree at uni in therapeutic bodywork (remedial massage and neuromuscular therapy) I am graduating 2009 and thinking as to what to do post graduation. I would really like to side step into more holistic treatments and am thinking about possibly doing some life coach training. I would initially like to do personal life coaching for people who have perhaps had some sort of health problem, i.e. addiction, depression etc and who want to be empowered and rebuild their lives.
I am aware there are many different training centres, so was wondering if anybody knows a good one or a reliable place to find out more info. I have had some life coaching myself in the past so I might also get in touch with my trainer. If anyone works as a life coach and can pass on words of wisdom, that would be really helpful.

Just want to tell you that one of the most recognized body in the UK is the Association for Coaching.
They can help you or give you excellent training.
Be very careful on who you will trust to give your money.
That is the reason why you should go directly to the relevant Association.

The support is fantastic and the 'community' is second to none. Catalyst do free seminars to give you more information on the process before you join up.
