I have always said to myself (& everyone else!) that my lack of patience was my biggest failing :(. I even got frustrated at myself for the lack of patience I had ......... [:@]

I AM now changing the way I think & re-training myself!! I have given myself an affirmation that i WILL have the patience 😀 to say every day !! (At least 10 times)

"I now choose to be patient"

let me say first of all... well done!

Now, let me come to something very very very important that you said. You said...

I now choose to be patient

Sarah, you may not have realised it but you have chosen a really powerful word and that is the word "choose". Why is it so important? Because that is the real point of life and therefore it is the whole point of life coaching. That is... we have the right to chose! We can chose, we ought to chose, we need to chose what is best for us and for our life. You are doing it sarah and that decision, the decision to chose, will undoubtedly make you successful.

Yes, I'm here to learn patience this time around, too. Join the club! 😉

The other thing that is so important to remember in affirmations, is that they relate to the NOW, just as you have done in the way yours is phrased.

Your "I now choose to be patient" is great because it is in the present. Any affirmation that says "I will" relates to the future, so in theory, remains there.

And don't worry - I blew a [:@] or two earlier today, but soon got things back into perspective. 😉

I am glad that the phrase is right! Can I ask if it is stronger to say it out loud as well as conciously thinking it.... 😮 Its just that in certain situations you obviously cant start saying the affirmation over and over out loud 😀 But would I be better saying it out loud to myself in private!!
