My little garden has doen well so far. There is space becoming available as more and more vegetables are ending up in the cooking pot.
Is there anything that can go in the ground, or its just too late for everything?
Many thanks in advance to all replies.

You could sow any of the following:-

cabbage
chicory
turnip

also flowers

perhaps coleus (grown for its bright colourful leaves)
forget me nots

I am sure others will give you some suggestions

Where I've harvested I've replaced it with various Salad crops to use up seeds, but I'm limited to pots and bags in a greenhouse so my compost may not be able to cope with growing anything other than salad really.

I'm currently thinking of ways to cycle the compost around so that I can reuse it for different things.

depending on the weather I grow dwarf varieities of tomatoes all year around, usuallyoutdoors until September/October and in when the frosts start. Ones great for small pots are tiny tim, vilma, balcony star and betalux to name a few.
