I generally have not been feeling "depressed", however, I have had a couple of very bad days lately and I need your opinions on it please.

Today was very hard, I think it was my hormones rather than anything else. I've been unable to cope as strongly as I have been and this has coincided rather dramatically with my time of the month. It's so worrying that I get so so emotional and the tears flood in the two days or so running up to a period, then I'm absolutely fine.

I have never been on the pill, but am seriously considering it if it can balance out my hormones/ emotions. I really don't feel generally depressed, we've noticed this month in particular how the veil lifted within minutes.

I'm not saying that hormones are the cause of all my problems or depression in the past, I'm just saying that every month it seems to be getting much worse over this time.

I know there are supplements I can take, though I'm not sure exactly which ones would benefit me (I'm veggie so fishie ones are out).

What are your experiences?

Any opinions/ advice very much appreciated,
