Hi
I'm 43 years old and over the last few months I have been loosing a lot of hair, mainly near my temples, but all over my head too. I have tried various things, head massage, aloe vera, castor oil, garlic and onion, biotin and the L'oreal aminexil, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas? It is very upsetting.

Well there are some factors that cause balding e.g. genetics/hereditary (does it run in your family?) and stress/anxiety can cause it (bit of a catch 22 there), also illnesses. Have you been ill recently?
When you say nothing works...I wonder how long you tried these solutions for? They may not yield immediate results.
Baldness does not have the stigma it used to have and some women find it attractive.
Hi Amy
Thank you for your reply. At first I thought it was stress related as I had a bad injury that caused many physical and emotional problems nearly a year ago, but the hair loss has not stopped. The things I have tried, I've tried for as long as is possible, but when you don't see results you can't help but try something more (as in I continue with what I'm doing but do other things). I realise it can take time for these things to work, but when your hair is coming out in handfuls it's quite distressing to wait.
Also I'm female and I don't think it is very attractive in women 🙁

Oh I see. Sorry I assumed you were male.
Since the illness occurred a year ago and the hair loss has continued...presumably seeing this is causing anxiety so may well still be having a direct affect on this.
Have you thought of seeing a trichologist to determine the cause? Also they may well be able to help with the problem.

I'm not sure why you would expect it to stop - are you suggesting that you are completely over the physical and emotional problems? Because the attitude to such things in our society does tend to make people convince themselves that they are fully recovered and the hair loss could well be a sign that you are not.
When I see a client for shamanic healing, one of the questions I ask is, "What happened to you before this started?" A bad injury would certainly count as something that could cause soul loss.
I think it would be a good idea to make a thorough analysis of your diet. It could be that you are deficient in vitamins, minerals or essential fatty acids ...
Good luck to you. I hope you find an answer.

Thank you. I have been a vegetarian for over twenty years and am careful to make sure I get the necessary vitamins, minerals etc. I have recently tired various amino acids to see if they help but to no avail.

Have you given further thought to my suggestion to visit a trichologist? They specialise in hair problems.
I'm going to look into it today, thanks I wasn't familiar with this before.
And soul loss?
My wife used to use a product named Viviscal, it helped her a lot with her hair loss, it was great, even i could see the results.
But after she started wearing the god particle 4 all sphere, she slowly stopped taking it, she said she felt that the god particle 4 all sphere was balancing her body enough so she didn't need the supplement anymore. Her hair is great 🙂

Respect to you for your stance on vegetarianism.
I would still be tempted to take something like kelp tablets, which contain a multitude of trace minerals.
Bear in mind, supplements only contain selected minerals not the full range. Most of them don't contain the full range of B vitamins. (There are 11 of them in the vitamin B complex). Being short of one vitamin or mineral can disrupt the whole chain.
As for nutrients from food. Food is only going to be as nutrient-enriched as the soil it was grown on.... So there is no guarantee.
Do you get enough zinc? That is important for hair health. (Any white flecks on your fingernails?)
Excessive hair loss problem can recover with hair transplant surgery and there many other herbal products and remedies that works to regenerate loss hair scalp.

It is quite interesting to listen to all of your stories. I am just 21 and I already have the hair loss problem. I never had one. I always had the long hair which would grow fast. I was even annoyed with how often I should cut them off. I died them once in a really good and expensive beauty saloon. I was going there since I was 14 and never had a problem. I died them in ashy white partially and here we go… What can you PLEASE recommend me to fix it? I would appreciate any help a lot.
If you are losing hair, the first question arises - are you eating properly? If you are completely vegetarian, you may not be getting amino acids properly. For that you have to get complete protein by eating meat.

What a load of nonsense... you get a full all round healthy source of protein from a plant based diet
animal proteing is bad for you as its full of saturated fat, cholesterol, added hormones and antibiotics.
Use shampoos with garlic or you could add one clove of garlic into your shampoo. It will only smell when your hair is wet. When its dry you're good to go I have been using this technique for a year and I have seen a difference.
Try Black seed oil.. really works wonders.
Hair loss is mostly genetic or due to stress. But it also may be the result of inappropriate care products, lack of vitamin d (it's a hormone, not a vitamin) and many other factors.
Try to switch to natural health care products. For example the wooden brush instead of the plastic ones. Drink more water and eat healthy food (more fresh veggies and berries), take more sunbathing, cause most of our problems are from the inside.
It worked for me once, hope this helps!
Great advice. I agree stress and genetics plan apart.
But balance diet and filter water and good giggle with friends really does make for happy hair and skin.

Hiii newearth, I dont think your age has anything to do with the hairloss I am 28 and I have suffered from serious hairloss and I have tried many products and some helped temporary others were useless. but what i did find out what that chemicals are so bad for our hair and all these products had some sort of chemicals sooo what worked for me was organic natural products. idk you can give them a try. what i use is the Virginic jojoba Oil heres a link idk you can try it cause it helped me so might help you. also i recently found out that you can apply it on your face and it helps with uneven skin tone. good luckkkk hope this helps
