I sometimes try Clear Complexion tablets, which you can buy in Boots or Holland and Barrett. They contain Blue Flag, Sarsparilla and Burdock root. I normally find that they work for the first 3-4 weeks, then my complexion will worsen with a vengeance, but that could be a purging/detoxifying process. Also Milk Thistle, which will also work on your liver.

I had good results with the Purple Emu anti-redness and blemish control cream, which is imported in from the States. All natural ingredients: Borage Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sulfur, Zinc Oxide, Tea Tree Oil, White Willow Bark Extract, Arnica, Camomile, Marigold, Burdock, Aloe Vera, Camphor, Eucalyptus, Vitamin E, Green Tea. However, the base in which they reside is made from Dromaius Oil, which is EMU oil - it has properties to take these ingredients through the various layers of the dermis, however it depends how you feel about using EMU oil as I know it isn't for everyone. Google it for more info.

As you say tho, whatever you use topically will need to be combined with a good diet and healthy lifestyle etc.

The use of Aromatherapy has dramatically improved my skin condition and making my own products out of vegetable oils and essential oils has revolutionised my entire skin care regime.

For old scars I swear by pure organic Rosehip seed oil on it’s own or mixed with naturally extracted Vitamin E. Plus skin exfoliating once or twice a week gently.

I agree with this, rosehip seed oil is brilliant for scars. Also, geranium oil can be added to moisturisers to help balance skin sebum levels.

Avoiding alcohol helps, as it depletes levels of zinc, which is important for skin.

Hey all, best bits of advice I have been given are:

Healthy diet with lots of fruit and veg

Having the right nutrients and vitamins in the diet, or as supplements

With the second one, I am using Imedeen's man-age-ment and it helps with general skin health, particularly for the face, and hopefully that will mean no spots! 🙂

You can use some natural facial mask to have a beautiful and glowing skin. Vitamin C is good for the skin. You can use Essenzza natural japanese silk facial treatment mask that has Vitamin C and Argan oil. You can use it at least once a week; this mask will leave your skin brighter and glowing.

Raw or manuka honey contains anti-bacterial properties that help clear pimples, soothe the skin and reduce inflammation. Baking soda acts as a natural exfoliate and helps minimize the appearance of acne scars.

Hi i am a chemist and i don't suggest any chemical product( Sorry my english is not good). you can use these technics;
Washing your face should always come after a good 5 minutes steaming routine. After the steaming, follow these 3 easy steps:

Use lukewarm water to get the soap wet.
Apply the soap to your face using your fingertips in a circular motion.
Wash your face gently and pat your skin dry using a cotton towel.

WARNING, Excessive washing of the face can cause mild to moderate irritations and increase redness and inflammation, defeating its own purpose.
But, you can look THIS WEB SITE more suggestion for your problem.

I recently purchased the Gurin Face and Body Cleansing System. Since I have been suffering from a lot of breakouts I tried the small bush first on my face. My face felt clean and oil free after the first wash, I immediately felt the difference. Next I tried the big body brush in the shower with one of my favorite scrubs, I felt like I just came from the spa. Last but not least was the pumice stone, which removed the dead skin and callouses with ease.

Hi everyone,

There are a variety of essential oils that have been known to help cleanse and revitalise the skin. The most popular oils include lavender, geranium, ylang ylang, tea tree, roman chamomile, frankincense and lemongrass.

However, certain essential oils should only be applied for certain skin conditions. This is important as certain oils can have different effects that you might not be looking for when treating your specific skin condition.
I've listed the common skin care conditions along with the types of oils that are known help.

Breakouts and blemishes:
Geranium, patchouli and lavender oils are great for prevention and treatment for breakouts.

Ageing Skin:
Ylang-ylang, Frankincense, Lavender, Patchouli, Palmarosa, Cypress, Sandalwood, Rose and Elemi are known to help nourish and revitalise ageing skin. Its a good idea to add a carrier oil with the essential oils mentioned. A good choice would be rosehip oil.

Congested/Oily Skin:
Lemon, Lime, Orange, Bergamot, Cypress and Geranium are known to regulate and reduce oil output.

Dry/Chapped Skin:
Palmarosa, Roman Chamomile, Atlas Cedarwood, Geranium and Myrrh help moisturise the skin. Again its good to mix in a carrier oil with essential oils mentioned. Roehip oil is a great option.

One powerful recipe for promoting a healthy skin complexion would be:
1 fl. ounce of Jojoba Carrier Oil
6 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
5 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
1 Drop Geranium Essential Oil

Mix the ingredients together and massage a small amount to the face or any other part of the body. However, but be certain to avoid the eyes, nostrils, lips and inside the ears.

I hope I was of some assistance to your skin care inquiry.

Hi!

As good scrub is very efficient bicarbonat of soda - on wet face apply small amount and gently rub it. The skin will have like velvet sensation on touch. Don't do this scrubbing more than 1 time/week, otherwise will iritate too much the skin.
After you can apply some avocado/argan oil mixed with patchouli+fennel+ylang ylang, this blend is good for uplift. For 10ml of base oil put 1-2 drops of each essential oil.

I noticed that on scares, wrinkles is acting very well this mask: one eg yolk, half tea spun of turmeric, half tea spun of honey (don't use honey if you are allergic), mix and apply for 20 min on clean skin. The only minus with this mask - it could make yellow your skin, so wash well and do it in weekend.

Use of natural handmade scrub is best for any type of skin types. As handmade scrubs are mostly made from oils and butters that are light on the skin but are deeply moisturizing without any greasiness.

The best and less time consuming way to take care of your skin is to apply Aloe Vera gel on your skin post bath. It works wonders within two weeks. Since Aloe vera gel is easy to spread over the skin and is absorbed instantly you can apply it in no time. It gives your skin enough hydration and moisture and makes it soft and supple.

No need to apply costly cosmetics and face the side effects. No need of those lengthy skin care therapies that are time and energy consuming. Aloe vera is a gift of nature for our body. We must make use of it for our well being.

Aloe vera doesnt have anyside effect and it removes the blemishes, scars, acne and pimples from your skin as well.
