Hi...I have posted in the Fibromyalgia and Gallbladder spots before (I have both problems) and in the underactive Thyroid category but I don't know where this belongs!
Since Sunday I have had chest pain (right and left side) now it feels more like it is to the left/centre. It is painful when I take a deep breath and even though I am not panting it does feel hard to draw breath. It feels like there is something big pressing into my chest and none of my pills seem to help (I have Omezapereole, Buscupan, Cyclizine, Thyroixine, Co-Codomol, Zamadol and a new one called Amitriptyline. Sorry about any miss-spellings).
I don't take all of them together...I am taking Thyroxine in the morning and this new one at night.
When I spoke to the doctor on Tuesday she said the chest pain could be a clot! That worried me...she said to look for swelling in the joints and breathlessness...would the pills I am on make this worse or better?
I don't know what to do...also my throat feels really sore and I have recently finished a course of antibiotics (god knows what for!) I also have really bad nausea!
Please does anyone know what I should do...I don't want to waste the hospitals time if this is a trivial thing.

Call NHS 24 - or see your GP immediately. Some of the drugs you are listing may be interacting and causing this problem.

as jabba says you need to see your gp ASAP, it maybe just a virus thing, or as jabba says your tablets
dont get fobbed off by your gp--- you need to get it soughted zenfrog76

im suffering from the same thing(im just a mess these last few weeks)[&:], i woke up last night with such severe pain in my left lung i thought i would be a clot or something but it calmed after a while and i fell back to sleep, today i feel it in the right and left side but i have a sore throat and a few body aches and pains so im presuming i have a bad chest infection or something but im going to my doctor tomorrow as its very hard to massage 8 people a day when i cant even breathe sitting down;)
i hope we both feel better soon and its nothing serious

turns out to be pleurisy from chest infection, am always suffering with chest so am now giving up smoking 3 days and counting every second!:(! hope ur feeling better...?

I suffer from lupus and often get these chest pains. They can last anywhere from a few minutes to a day.
