RE: infection
Hi , it sounds to me like you have allergies, but being in that enviroment constantly is causing infection, has your doctor offered you any masks to wear? Antihistamine? You can give yourself a really good injection of natural help, you must buy LOCAL HONEY ,because it is in your local area that the bees collect the pollen from the exact grasses, blossoms, trees, where your allergies are coming from. These allergies are aggrovated by smoke from cigs and exhausts and house dust. If you start taking a desert spoon of honey every morning and every night you will soon build up immunity from these irritants to you, but it must be local honey. Take it everyday from now on even through winter,so buy yourself a good stock. :)Lyn

RE: infection
Hi-just read your post. Last year I had a bad case of lung infection-done so many blood tests and spittum tests before they got to know what it really was. The doctor put me on [link= http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3834-s-TOBRAMYCIN.aspx ]antibiotics [/link]to treat that infection before it got any worse than the case was.It was caused, later I was told, by allergies that I had and that had gone bad without my knowledge. If you haev allergies, like you said you hae eczema, then you have to be careful. Taking antibiotics help a lot but you know that antibiotics are to be taken only in severe cases.
RE: infection
thanks for your post yesd i find that antibiotics can sometimes do more harm than good and that is why i am trying other things first now
RE: infection
Hi Crystal Rose
I recommend to anybody who takes antibiotics, to also take probiotic supplements or friendly bacteria yoghurt. You see, the antibiotics will destroy all good bacteria in your gut which can lead to further problems with your digestion.
Eczema has been linked to food allergies, typical trigger foods for eczema are dairy products, wheat, soya, nuts and eggs also other chemicals additives in foods such as histamine, salicylates, benzoates and aromatic compounds found in spices can trigger eczema symptoms.
In studies, when heavy coffee drinkers stopped drinking coffee their eczema symptoms improved, so try avoiding coffee. Following a vegan type diet with plenty of seeds, leafy green vegetables, whole grains would be beneficial for you.
The following supplements may help with your Eczema - Aloe Vera gel, Borage oil, Evening primrose oil, Fish Oil, Multivitamins and multiminerals, St John’s Wort, Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
All the best 🙂
RE: infection
hello there, it wont be good for you if you need to have antibiotics all the time, im sure you know that.
What about starting a course of the herb Echinacea
This herb activates the immune system to counter both bacterial and viral infections. It inhibits the ability of viruses and bacteria to take over cells thus exposing the body to infection. Echinacea is a mild natural antibiotic and has a stimulating effect on the body's immune defenses. It is best taken at the onset of symptoms and can protect against staph and strep infections and help relieve swollen lymph nodes.
hope this information is of some use to you
kind regards mike

RE: Fall
i know 'toby' all to well (500mg once per day for 2 weeks at a time) .. its important to have your 'bloods' taken regularly usin that to check toby levels .... its real kydney 'killer' , lol
if your 'levels' are above one .. they take you off it for a day then drop the dose the followin day.
do you know what bacteria you are culturin ?? some 'opurtunist bugs' are so virilent and have evolved to exploit weaknesses in the host to such an extent that alternative medicine is pretty impotent in their eradication.
i would assume however that the alternative aproach would be a bonus in the healin process after hardcore antibiotics have taken care of the bacterial threat.
i wonder what the average life expectancy would be in society if antibiotics had never been invented ?? just imagine if the least lil infection, which is nothin more than a temporary nuisance now , was often fatal like in pre-antibiotic times! they are miraculous compounds .
