nice to see on one of the above posts-somones daughter called Deanna.......theres not many of us about.
It was chosen by my parents,because of the 50's actress deanna durbin.
she was a stunner....what more can i say? lol

Christopher John (always liked the name Christopher - John is the name of his godfather)
Francesca Jennifer (quite liked the name Frankie, which she is called - Jennifer was my maternal grandmothers middle name which she was known by rather than Florence which was her first name)

Lauryn (pro: laurinne) Amy - I could not think of anything else I liked and swappedand changed loads was going to be Corey for a boy but then my sis had a little boy and called him Corey so I got both in the end!

My little girl is called Phoebe Alice. We use both names and at 18-months-old, she knows it very well! It comes out as "Eebee Awiss" - incredibly sweet and heart-warming to hear my little angel singing her own name![sm=love-smiley-009.gif]

Interestingly their names were not often abbreviated when they were young, but each now much prefersto be called by the shortened versions, Alex, Chris and Tom.

If they had been girls their names would have been chosen from, Holly, Ellen, Madeline, Daisy,(I especially liked Daisy)!!

We had a great difficulties to find a name as we are very international familly. Mother Polish, Father Indian, and to suit Godfather French as well we chose MAYA. Very sweet name.

Now I am almost due with a boy and again we have lots of problems. Any help much appreciated. We have so far Rahul, but it is not very Polish, so still looking. Not easy task.

i have two son's

James Mark Peter, named after Great Grandad, Grandad, Dad on husband's side ( if he was a girl he was going to be Cally )

Aaron Caleb John. This was my Choice i wanted Caleb as 1st name my husband said no absolutely not, I gave birth to Aaron in the car on the way to hospital so as my husband was in state of shock i managed to sneak Caleb in. ( if he was a girl he was going to be an Elizabeth )

My Husband was desperate for the names Luke which i also like, but as our surname is walker i had to refuse !!!!
