It is believed that if the heartbeat of the baby is less than 140 then it will be a baby boy and if the heartbeat exceeds 140, it will be a baby girl. Is it true or just a myth????
I've heard this too but would not read too much into this. My little girl's FHB was 125 the other day (6 months pregnant). If you don't want to find out the sex of the baby, I would not rely on that information.. but wait for the surprise at the end. As for me, I could not wait so we found out.
We've just found out today at the scan that my wife is carrying a baby boy! 🙂 Chuffed as we have two girls already and I'm seriously outnumbered.
However even then, they can never be 100% certain. I have heard many tales of wrong identifications but not sure how many are true.
We were told today however "look, he's got things between his legs that little girls don't have" so I guess that is pretty conclusive.
