My first baby was delivered by an emergancy c-section completly opposite to what wanted. However my next child which i am planning to have in six months time i want to have naturally. I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to stengthen my womb, and other internal organs so i am ready and strong, and definately wont have to have another c-section?

hi ebony
not sure on how to stregnthen your womb and other organs but if it helps at all my sister in law had an emergency c section with her first child and a normal delivery with her second child and as far as i know she didn't do any exercises she just let nature take its course,
all the best

Hi,

I had an elective C as my baby was breech all the way through (turned back to breech after being turned as well!!). Six years later had my second baby and was told would need another section but I declined and so I was 'allowed' a trial labour lol. Had her perfectly ok and had not exercised etc over the 6 years. It's the uterus the holds the baby and I'm not sure if it can be strengthened? Plus, remember, if it's an emergency then you do whatever you have to do to get the baby safely into the world whether section or normal!

Love and light

You will never be given a garantee of a normal delivery, whether previous section or not , however 75% do get a vaginal birth which are good odds.
Most obstetricians now encourage a trial of scar if all well otherwise in the pregnancy.

There is nothing you can take to strengthen the uterus but yoga in pregnancy can really help labour.

:grouphug: Hello Ebony,

I wanted a normal birth after having a c section, all through my pregnancy i was having a normal birth but when the time came my waters broke and no contractions so i had to have another section,
but i have friends who have had normal births after having sections with no problems at all. so good luck

take care
