Hi Y'all,
Can anyone recommend a remedy for cramp please? I am 25 weeks now and over the last week or so have started to get cramps in my toes and calf muscles. Tonight was particularly bad - 25 minutes of agony in right toes which needed to bend one way to ease but was aggrivated by right calf muscle which needed stretching in the opposite direction. I am drinking plenty of fluids, getting plenty of exercise and eating sensibly.
Help please? I know this is really common, but it's starting to get worse each time. I would be grateful for any advice you can offer.
Cheers muchly!
RE: Ouch Cramp!
Miserable isn't it. Bananas can help (or any foods that are high in potassium), as can sleeping with your feet elevated. Of course, if you also get heartburn then you'll be sleeping propped up, so you'll look like a banana, but that probably doesn't count.
Hope that helps.
RE: Ouch Cramp!
thanks for your reply. I have also been told to drink a glass of milk as calcium and magnesium can help. Have been getting a nightly leg massage too which is lovely!

RE: Ouch Cramp!
Thanks for the replies. Haven't had any bad attacks since I started drinking more milk, so hopefully, this is what I needed.
Cheers all, only 12-14 weeks to go now yay!
