Monoamniotic twins

Does anyone know hwere I can find information based on UK research. I want to know about pregnancy care in the UK for this condition and also survival rates for the babies

Try [link= http://www.midirs.org.uk/ ]MIDIRS[/link], the midwifery information and resource service. They have a large number of standard searches and can also do specific searches for you.

thanks for that. It is rare to have monoamniotic twins pregnancy (2 babies and only 1 sac) so there isn't a huge amount of information around but luckily someone i know read on the net that it can be misdiagnosed. It was lucky because she had been told that the pregnancy was very very risky, the future "bleak" it was unlikely the twins would survive and she was "strongly advised" to terminate.
She sought a second opinion with a multiple births specialist who did another scan and showed her clearly that there were 2 sacs and at the moment no need for any alarm so fingers are crossed that all goes well
