I am now 20 weeks pregnant, hurrah! I've always found it difficult to locate yoga classes except for the big sports centres, so I was just wondering how to find out about antenatal ones? Are there any specific Yoga organisations that can help me find a local class? I've heard of the British Wheel of Yoga... are there others? Is there somewhere online that I can do a search?
Had my second scan today and baby is doing well!
Well, if you'd like to come and stay with me, my yoga teacher specialises in ante (and post) natal yoga. There are some pregnant women in my class and she's great with them. However, I know that's not very practical so I'll ask her tomorrow if she knows how you could find a class in Essex. (Ummm, can you tell me where in Essex? PM me if you don't want to put it on the forum.)

Thanks, Sunanda! I'm in Hornchurch/Romford area. I love yoga, but haven't done it for years... Now is the perfect time to get back ino it.
Do a search for any yoga classes / instructors in your area and then try and have a talk to the actual instructors. Even if they are an instructor at a big sports centre, they may know of other's in same area who may do pregnancy classes. Also ask your midwife team when you get to meet them, as they may have had this question before.
Hi Tigerlily
It might be worth asking your midwife about pregnancy yoga.
l am 30 weeks pregnant now and l am doing pregnancy yoga. l found out about through the maternity unit in my local area. the class is run by a student midwife and l have to say it great, l am learning lots from it and it's great to meet up with lots of other pregnant ladies. Good luck with finding a class and hope you enjoy it as much as l do.
