Hello,
Im just wondering if anyone is using dr browns bottle and when they change onto the size 2 teats? My baby is two months old but ive notice shes really making strange sucking noise now and so wondered if she needs a new teat.

Dr Browns have a really helpful website Dr.Browns - FAQ's - and you could always contact your health visitor for advice too.

I used them too, both my girls were about 8 weeks when I started to use the 3months + teats as the hole in the newborn ones were too small - they were sucking really hard and it was taking a long time to drink the milk...thats the sign they are ready for new teats .x

Hello,
Thankyou im on the bigger teats now and even starting my little girl on solids even though the new guidelines are not to start until 6mths.My little one seems to be self weaning her self. Shes reduced her milk feeds to 4 aday. Im still expressing but only alittle amount so shes having breast milk every otherday. Shes on hipp organic formula milk aswell. I wasnt sure if to try goats milk as she seem to not get on with the other sma reflux milk or the non dairy one..which tasted horrid.

Hi there Hallos, glad she is doing OK - hope you are too now.

If you are thinking of goat's milk there is a good formula available , but also in many other places too. Check the prices as it varies considerably. Goat's milk formula was well recommended at college because the curd it forms is much finer and softer, so s far more easily digested. Goats have been described the 'universal mother' as their milk can be consumed by almost any other mammal. The only thing is do keep it chilled all the time after mixing as it can taint very quickly at room temperature, and not many people like the smell!

Sending Love and Light and a big Hug
