Hello Clairabella,
Don't feel down, it will all be worth it in the end! Just wait until you get past the second trimester and you know the end of the pregnancy is near, you will be surprised at how great you will feel inspite of everything you have been through.
I'm now 37 and a half weeks and I've been through hell and back with my pregnancy, but now even with all the pain i feel constantly, i seem to have energy and its like nothing i've felt before. Wait until that little baby starts kicking and responding to your touch...
Try and just stay positive...i know it's hard, because at times i felt very depressed and worried how i was going to make it. This forum helped a lot!
I wish you the best of luck and one last thing, i am glad i never asked what i'm having, because it was the one positive thing i had to look forward to...that and shopping for baby stuff!
Just believe that you will be ok and you will be!
Nisha

Hi Clairabella,
Sending happy thoughts your way 🙂
I was really suprised that South Tyneside hospital only had one birthing pool, which hospital is your nearest, Sunderland ?
If you ever want to let of steam just message me.
Like Nisha 1H said, people of this forum really help & you helped me alot when i was down when ttc.
Take it you wont be going back to work after the baby is born, lol
Just wondered if you have ever thought about a water birth at home,
my midwife said they are great
no going to deliver at gateshead as know my way around the hospital there! apparently they are getting a new birthing pool in may so fingers crossed i get to use it, i am far tooo much of a stress head so a home birth would not suit me. goo thing is baby had now started moving and it feels great is not a bit odd at first!
seams like things are finally clicking into place!
partner is painting his beloved royal blue computer room i nice creamy yellow ready to make the nursery in there! as consolation have let him buy a 57" tv so he can play on his xbox when im in bed MEN!
take care

Hi Clairabella,
Just wondered how things are going?
I was so against a home birth for my first baby but after what i went through at South Shields hospital i would have a home birth for my next child.
Guess your partner needs to make the most of his xbox before the baby comes along as no time for that then, lol
Take care
Jane
everything is going well had abnomally scan just over 2 weeks ago however bump had other ideas refusing to shift for then to see the heart so been again today!
i swear i need a parking permit im at that hospital too often however today i found out we are having a little girl!!!!!!! am chuffed to bits, its funny as before i was not in the slightest bothered over what i was having but now i know i feel i can prepare things a little more! it also stops his mum from knitting any more dark blue cardis erghhh

clair and little miss bump
Hello there,
I'm glad you and little miss bump are doing well. Wait until she's in your arms! My little angel is now nearly 6weeks old and even though i remember how hard my pregnancy and labour was, i wouldn't change her for anything!
Best wishes to you both!
Love
Nisha

i am now just under 36 weeks and its finally hitting home espec with the midwife coming out in 2 weeks with the homebirth kit!!!! putting up with loads of negative comments over my choice to have missy at home but its what me and my oh want that counts!
had a 4d scan a 2 weeks ago and my little poppet has the biggest hamster cheeks very cute! but only 2 pockets of fluid so i will be suprised if we get to full term espec as she has been engaged since 27 weeks!!!

Oh home birth that's great, least yours is planned.
After our shock of a home birth i'll be having a home birth for our next baby when we decide to have one. I found after the birth really stress free being at home esp since i hate hospitals so much & the great thing was that we had loads of visitors on the first day (even though i said we weren't going to) but we were on such a high. The only thing i was worried about was the fact my neighbour was home but luckily she didn't hear a thing, lol
Keep us informed how you get on
