My sister wanted me to ask if anyone was experiencing a certain symptom that's baffling her?
She has been ill for 5 years now, and has been unable to sit up for almost 3 years. She has a neurological illness though not a lot has shown up in tests up to now. She can hardly use her arms at all now and has constant electric shocks.
Her last MRI she had last year showed 'white spots' on her brain, which the neurologist dismissed it as 'wear and tear'.
Though she has many frightening symptoms the one she wanted me to ask about was the 'heaviness'. Almost as if she is being continuosly pushed into the floor, which is a lot worse when she is sitting or walking. In her own words, 'It's as though i'm carrying someome very heavy on my shoulders all the time'.
A lot of her symptoms are very alike to MS; except for the 'heaviness'.Has anyone else ever had, or know of this symptom?
RE: Symptoms?
Hi Astral,
This is an area of knowledge that has never affected me since I am never ill. But I will give you a response from a spiritual perspective. What we do know, isthat by internalising fears or anger or regrets that this will, and has to, manifest itself as illness. What are your Mums fears? Ask her what she things about all of the time, that causes her shame, fear, regret and unable to progress in life and then we can work to remove these blocks. When the blocks are removed the energy can flow again and she can begin to heal herself.
Do let me know if I can help you both through this time
My very best wishes

Hi there,
Almost any neurological symptom could be MS, It's just that some symptoms are alot more common than others. The 'Heaviness' sensation she experiences could still be related to MS (Hopefully not though)
Did she only have the MRI of her brain? In cases when MS is a possibility neuros really should order a scan of the brain & cord. Many people have clean brain MRI's but have lesions on the spinal cord.
Did you get a second opinion regarding the white spots on the brain MRI? Maybe this would be a good idea if at all possible. As you probably know MS is a very difficult disease to diagnose, in many cases it takes years for a firm diagnosis. What other tests has she had?
There are also many other less serious neurological conditions which have very similar symptoms to MS.
Take Care.
