I had a car accedent that severed both leg's of above the knee and I have been told that the pain i'm experencing is neurological because of the brain thinks the leg's are still there. I'm on a lot of meds and have been for eight months and I was wondering if anyone has had the same experance?[sm=wave.gif]
RE: phatom pain
Hello Myjosette,
Firstly I must say that I don't have a shared experience, but thought I could offer some help. I assume the pain you're experiencing is in the lower leg region? If this is the case, try some self massage techniques using reflexology referral areas: that is, massage your lower arms (hands up to just above the elbows). This is the area a therapist would treat, and it could provide you with some relief.
I hope this helps,

Hi There, I have found that eft emotinal freedom techniques works wonders with phantom pain, i use it in my clinic for patients with phantom pain.
you can download a free eft manual from
i do suggest that you find a qualified eft practitioner to work with to get the best results.
you can use it for clearing the pain as well as any negative emotions that come up from the car accident.
priceless therapy
take care
Dez
