Has anyone experienced Pelvic floor neurostimulation? My specialist has put me forward for this and I would like to know a bit more about it. I have nerve damage following back surgery which has affected my lower limbs and saddle area, also left me with bowel problems. Any info would be appreciated.

RE: Neuro Stimulation

Theraputic Grade Essential Oils will help the pain and repair tissue and get oxygen where it is needed.

Also, Systemic Enzymes will help eat scar tissue.

RE: Neuro Stimulation

Hi Marnie

Had an appointment with the consultant today who explained what pelvic floor neuro stimulation will actually involve. Phew!!!! feeling a lot happier now - it is a non invasive procedure which I will perform at home myself daily. I havent seen the machine yet but apparently it is a very small box with 2 electrodes attached. The electrodes are placed on the lower abdomen and a current is passed through them (a bit like a tens machine) which stimulates the nerves in the pelvic floor region. Their is a long waitng list as the machines are in short supply so I may have to wait for about 6months. I'll let you know how I get on when I finally receive my machine.
