Hello, my symptoms started in feburary of this year, i am 20 years old and this is almost taking over my life, i was walking down the street happy as you like, then something hit me, and almost like the flick of a switch i went from fine to almost falling over, i was hit my strange sensations, dizzyness, vertigo, and just this feeling of "this is somethign serious" so i sat on a wall, calmed down and went home, since the day i have had a ct scan, mri scan, eeg scan and nothing, since it happened my symptoms seem to change as time goes on but stay roughly the same, ive had a pressure headache at the front and top of my head since the day it happened, i dont think i have had a single day without it, moments of vertigo and dizzyness, but dizzyness does not seem liek the right word, more like an unstable feeling, like ive just stepped into a small hole in the floor of some sort.

i get stong sensations running through my body, like pins and needles but instead of feeling the sensation on the surface of the skin it feels more internal, i get these shudders coming from my head, and sometimes my neck, when i move my neck it does not feel smooth, i do not have any pain in my neck, but say for example i turn my neck from side to the other, it does not feel smooth or correct, it feels like its jerking accross like a stop start motion, i have been to a chriopractor and they have found nothing serious...

some other small things i have noticed, are some slight vision problems, such as a bit more of a fuzzyness in my general eyesight, blobs of white light, and sometimes ringing in my ears, there are other slight symptoms that do not come to mind right now, but this is the main feelings i expierence.

ive had eye tests, blood tests and all fine, i am currently waiting to see a new neurologist, hopefully in the non to distant future, but the chances are they can only do so many tests.

Anyway thanks for listening and any help would be very grateful.

Thanks.

Hello bradros1987 and a very warm welcome to Hp,

I'm inclined to say to keep perservering with the medical profession, as they will give you a proper medical diagnosis. 🙂 My personal thoughts is perhaps you may be suffering from an ear infection, or a lingering virus as i had similiar some years ago where it eventually went away of its own accord.

Warmest wishes- calla lily x

Hi Bradros,

One area you could look at is heavy metal toxicity particularly mercury, lead or aluminium. Have you had many vaccinations, or had you recently had one?

If you think either of these is a possibility, let me know and I can direct you further.

How is your head-neck posture? Do you carry your head forward of your shoulders? Is it habitually carried to one side?

It could be that even though the scans picked nothing up, there is some obstruction to the nerves or soft tissue, and correcting your posture may help.

If you have got postural problems then a trip to an Alexander teacher or a good Pilates teacher would be helpful.

Hey guys, wow thanks for the quick response, it is much appreciated...

ok my posture, i did go to a chiropractor and they did say my posture was a little "slouchy" not standing up straight and yeah my head slightly dipping forward, and i have been making an effort to try and correct that but deep down i have the feeling my posture is not the main problem here, but sure it might be a factor,

as for vaccinations i havant had any, i have been eating rather healithly recently and any blood test i have had has come back clean,

and i have had my ears checked also, but then again when they checked my ears the doctor said they where pretty clogged with wax so i used some ear drops to clean that up, maybe i should get them to take another look, but yeah my ears feel fine wouldnt i feel some sort of pain if i had an infection?

as for the doctors well this started in feb and its taken all this time just to have a ct, mri, and eeg scan, the process/system is so slow i have basically realised that sure i am still going to carry on with the doctor/hospital appointments (currently on the waiting list) but at the end of the day, i think trying to help myself is my best option whilst im waiting...

the most horrible part of it is when i am just sitting in a chair comfortably, and all i can feel si this shaking/jerky sensation through my body more so in the bottom half of my body where my weight is pushing down, i do beleive i have some incorection in my neck or spine, an example would be when i was lifting some weights one time (very light) an exercise similar to this

and as i brought the weights down i got this strange sensation from ny arms - neck - head, my head would physically shake as i brought my arms down, and even without weights if i perform thaty same movement, my head shakes as much as say a car would when you turn on the engine, but very visable...

its all very strange, and its always changing, since day 1 my symptoms have changed, only slightly but as time goes on things come, things go, but its all linked.

anyway thanks for listening.

🙂

Hay Bradros, I know it's been a few months since your post.

Has Ménéries disease and Intercranial Hypertension been ruled out?
