Not sure if this should go in this forum?

For the past 2-3 months both my hands and arms fom below the elbow have been jolting.

It started off now and again and did not worry me, it is a voluntary thing but I felt as though I had to jolt them for some reason (think of not trying to blink for half an hour, you can not resist doing it); but it has started to get more regular, I am making an appointement with the doctor tomorrow but wondered if any of you here had come across something like this before

RE: Hands Jolting

Have you made any progress with the problem &/or a diagnosis?

It could, of course may be a neurological problem, but probably best not hazard any guesses on that til the medics have done the appropriate tests.

I see that you're a magnetic therapist, so it may be worth mentioning that not everyone get along with magnetic fields and often it's the healer/therapist type. I'm guessing that you're working with magnets, rather than being a tradtional 'magnetic healer'?

Point being - it may well be worth doing without/avoiding magnets & minimising EMF (electro magnetic field) exposure for a while to see if things improve. A bit tricky in the modern world, but if you can and things do improve, then suggest you look into NAET to desensitise yourself.

Andrew.

RE: Hands Jolting

Hi Andrew,

Thank's for replying, the doctor though it could be a compulsive dissorder or built up stress but has decided to refer me to someone.

I work with static magnets rather than electro-magnetic systems, as a rule I tend to take 2 weeks off from being around magnets every 2-3 months; all my magnets are kept in an insulated aluminium case and stored safely.

But you have a point on the E.M.F's so I am going to move some electrical equipement to the other side of my bedroom and see if anything improves.
