Ok folks over to you who has had it and who has found a suitable treatment?

nearly two weeks ago I woke in the middle of the night with the room spinning, couldn't get a drs apt for 5 days! when saw dr got told it was because my BP was high, it was high when I went to the drs, but I had been swimming, used a Jacuzzi and sauna which raise bp....so its hard to say whether the reading at the drs was a true reflection of my bp. the locum gave me any dizzy tablets and high bp tablets. took one anti diz tablet which made symptons worse, got double vision, blurred vision and more dizziness then before, so I stopped taking them. a couple of days later started taking the bp tablets 2.5 mg but was monitoring my bp which was normal....trip to opticians Monday,, eyes fine. back to drs yesterday, saw reg. dr ,he carried out tests like marching on the spot with eyes open, eyes closed, heel to toe walking, etc. he tells me I have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. on thur he wants to do the epley manoeuvre (I have looked that up on the net to see what it involves).

I am a reiki master and have been trying unsuccessful with reiki, but I do have a reiki apt tomorrow

has anyone had this condition? did you find it went on its own, with drugs, with alternative treatments.

any advice appreciated

thanks

It is related to problems in the ear, and can clear up on its own. It is often related to physical debris in the inner ear - and dislodging the debris cures the problem.

Don't know what the doctor was doing putting you an ant- hypertensives with only one high bp. Unless it was REALLY high they are supposed to monitor you for a bit. These days they KNOW one off readings are not a good measure.

I hope your reiki appointment is helpful
